Yeah, the fact that there is only 1 alchemy/enchanting/provisioning quest is very annoying. There are 3? of the woodworking/metal/clothing, I think? I started shoving the Phase 1 furnishing plans into my guild banks a few days after the event started, they lost value so quickly.

Nevertheless, I have now gotten all of the phase 2 furnishings from blue boxes, including the Lens Apparatus, the Fan, and the bonfire, which I think are the 3 purple ones? And not one Phase 2 furnishing from a gold box. /shrug
RNG is gonna RNG, but they do drop from blue, for those who can stand the grind.

They are gated by profession, and each profession has one blue plan and one purple plan. While they can drop from either the blue or gold coffers, the blue coffer drop rate is very low and, for all practical intents and purposes, might as well be zero.

    Blacksmithing:

Purple: Blueprint: Stirk Fellowship Tower, Defensive

    Alchemy:
    Blue: Formula: Meridian Lens
    Purple: Formula: Meridian Lens Apparatus

    Enchanting:
    Blue: Praxis: Grave Marker, Soldier's
    Purple: Praxis: Bonfire, Alliance Camp

    Provisioning:
    Blue: Design: Puddle, Wax
    Purple: Design: Carnaval Fan

Because these things practically only drop from gold boxes (the drop rate from blue is too low to be worth serious consideration), but you can only get one gold craft box per day, it is worth re-rolling the crafting quest so that the first one you do in the day is from a profession where you are still missing stuff. (And yes, this is another point in the "this event's reward mechanics are poorly designed" column.)

Edit: There are 12 possible crafting quests: 3 each for equipment, and only 1 each for consumables, which is why re-rolling for one of the consumable quests can seem like a frustrating task.

Yes. You don't even have to pick it up. Just back out of dialogue. It can take multiple tries, in my experience they are stingy about giving the new ones out. But, it can be done.

That's because of the 12 possible crafting quests, 9 are for equipment (3 each for blacksmithing, clothing, and woodworking), and only 3 are for consumables (1 each for alchemy, enchanting, and provisioning).

There's simply 3x more of the equipment quests than there are of the consumable quests.

Thank you for the tip on plans being gated behind the professions. Once I knew that I re-rolled ad nauseam until I got enchanting and the plan I wanted. Now I never have to do them again.

I have 14 of 25 Caltrops parts now, so that's probably within the average - but what's with the Wormwrithe style pages? Where are those dropping from? I barely see them drop somehow and, according to my list, still miss 1 armor style and 6 of the weapons styles.

And do the Worm Cult sconce/lamp furnishings actually drop? I got all others at least once, but those 2 are still missing.

So after they, thankfully, raised the drop rate on furnishings (only. They were sadly all out of quarters for a reward box drop hotfix) I farmed the marshals for over a week. I got a ton of the non purple furnishings and 3 of the jawbone sconces. I did not see one lamp. Strangely, after a week of farming, one day the furniture just stopped dropping. It went back to the pre hotfix rates of dropping. It wasn't just myself that noticed but many in guilds and even here. I asked Zos and she responded that all was fine, so ymmv on drops but I know the sconces *can* drop.

I've been getting a handful of blue coffers per day, and I've yet to get anything beyond the one set piece/10 radishes type of trash rewards. Most of my gold boxes have been quite good, though, and I got the Coldharbour house today in one of them :)

Not getting many of the Bone fragments, I only have 8 so far. I hope I'll be able to get the required 25 during the event.

Isn't RNG strange? I got two Meridian Lenses today from blue. And I've still not gotten one furnishing plan from a gold. I'm doing the alchemy quest on gold for crafting every time.
I got the 10K house drop from a blue, and probably 90% of my 24 caltrops slivers have come from blue. RNG. Gotta love it.

ETA: A puddle of wax and wormwrithe guards from blue as well today. But: I'm doing this on 20 characters a day, so my weights are a bit off from most people, I think.

Looks like there are also patterns of them. I'd suspect them to drop like all other Worm Cult furnishing patterns - from random containers like urns, boxes and backpacks.

Can anyone tell me why wax puddle? I mean I just got it last night and had not seen it up to now. I'm gonna be frank, it looks like a pile of poop. Cow poop to be exact. I sent just a pic of it on discord with the message "identify this" and no one said puddle of wax. Most people said poop lol.

As for field marshals, they're still not dropping like they were. Jessica Folsom I believe took a look for me last week, she's the one that got it raised for us in the first place, and said it had not changed. I remain skeptical.
