Yeah, the fact that there is only 1 alchemy/enchanting/provisioning quest is very annoying. There are 3? of the woodworking/metal/clothing, I think? I started shoving the Phase 1 furnishing plans into my guild banks a few days after the event started, they lost value so quickly.BretonMage wrote: »I'd love it if we could do multiple alchemy quests, but it doesn't seem to work that way, since I've never had an alchemy daily get assigned more than once per day.
There are 12 furnishing plans that drop from the craft coffers.
They are gated by profession, and each profession has one blue plan and one purple plan. While they can drop from either the blue or gold coffers, the blue coffer drop rate is very low and, for all practical intents and purposes, might as well be zero.

Because these things practically only drop from gold boxes (the drop rate from blue is too low to be worth serious consideration), but you can only get one gold craft box per day, it is worth re-rolling the crafting quest so that the first one you do in the day is from a profession where you are still missing stuff. (And yes, this is another point in the "this event's reward mechanics are poorly designed" column.)
Edit: There are 12 possible crafting quests: 3 each for equipment, and only 1 each for consumables, which is why re-rolling for one of the consumable quests can seem like a frustrating task.7347: Helms for the Headstrong

What do you mean re-roll? Does he offer a different quest if you don’t take the first one he offers, is that what you are saying? I’ll try that and see tomorrow.

That's because of the 12 possible crafting quests, 9 are for equipment (3 each for blacksmithing, clothing, and woodworking), and only 3 are for consumables (1 each for alchemy, enchanting, and provisioning).
There's simply 3x more of the equipment quests than there are of the consumable quests.
I have 14 of 25 Caltrops parts now, so that's probably within the average - but what's with the Wormwrithe style pages? Where are those dropping from? I barely see them drop somehow and, according to my list, still miss 1 armor style and 6 of the weapons styles.
And do the Worm Cult sconce/lamp furnishings actually drop? I got all others at least once, but those 2 are still missing.

I think the neighbors heard my "d'oh!".

I got the house and 4 (FOUR!) 10K treasures.
The house from a blue box, and one of the 10K from the dolmen chest. The other two I don't remember.

Yes. You don't even have to pick it up. Just back out of dialogue. It can take multiple tries, in my experience they are stingy about giving the new ones out. But, it can be done.

Nevertheless, I have now gotten all of the phase 2 furnishings from blue boxes, including the Lens Apparatus, the Fan, and the bonfire, which I think are the 3 purple ones? And not one Phase 2 furnishing from a gold box. /shrug
RNG is gonna RNG, but they do drop from blue, for those who can stand the grind.

Yup, I'll just keep soldiering on, and whatever drops, drops. Though if you got 24 fragments from 20 characters, maybe I'm not doing so badly with 8..

Is it that the furnishing items themselves are dropping as part of the event, but the recipes can be found all the time in Solstice?
