It's why I personally am just not doing it - I own that house already - and 10k is nothing to most ppl who played a week.

there should be 2 more furnishing plans for Meridian Lenses which will drop from wall crafting quests rewards, as Zeni will add 3 other craftskills crafting and the said plans are Formulae, so they should drop when Alchemy wall crafting quests rewards added
    - Formula: Meridian Lens
    - Formula: Meridian Lens Apparatus
also Zeni said they will add Wormwrithe weapons style pages
and i am not sure about consumable fragments for a skill style
but all abovementioned is at the next two phases of the Event

Yeah. When they said it would have exceptional value, I thought it would at least be 100k like the antiquities coin. 10k is nothing compared to the house.

Might be worth noting too that if the Coldharbour Surreal Estate house drops from Siege Camp loot chests it can be easy to miss. I only just barely caught it out of the corner of my eye which led to me looking further into it. You'd think it would show up as Legendary Gold and not Trash/Common Grey.

I was gonna post a screenshot, but upload keeps failing.

That's exactly what I thought - I had a ceremonial chalice drop and thought it couldn't be that as they'd described it as being of exceptional value. Given the house costs 1m gold, 10k really doesn't seem like a fair alternative. I don't think even new players would think of 10k as exceptional!

It's ironic I think. I bet that most of the players that would actually be interested in such a house (those that like to build from scratch) already own it. Those that do not build, would probably prefer an proper house. So, while thematically this reward fits the event, it leaves a lot of people wishing for something else.

They have a lot of structural furniture plans in the game to build your own house on it, just fyi. You probably knew just throwing it out there for those that don't mess with housing regularly or may have been unfamiliar with this house/housing.

I wouldn’t mind having it. I have bought a few notable houses but wouldn’t pay crowns for that one, so getting it for free would be cool. No other house fits the theme.

Coldharbour Surreal Estate is a great house for setting up Dungeon/Trial Arenas. Setting up school/rehearsal/practice areas utilizing targeet dummies, floor mats, etc.. simulating Dungeon/Trial scenarios. Great way to teach newer players how to position hard/soft stacks, how to turn-n-burn without moving your feet, tank-dps-healer positioning, etc.. and of course helping them improve their parse/rotations.

And it's absolutely perfect if you have the Combat Training furnishings that came out last April.

The only things of interest that I saw from event was some structural furnishings and the coldharbour surreal estate home.

I was heavily farming the event at first, but I've gotten all the recipes I need, and nothing else seems important.
The event has been so underwhelming that I've stopped playing it for the most part. The weirdly balanced progress bars are also causing me to lose faith in the whole platform competition aspect of it.

I'm only doing the event on the one account that I don't already have the home on. Even then, it's only a couple of boxes a day. It's just not exciting enough to do more than that.

I love housing, and actually like coldharbour surreal estate. However, it is really not the best house to have for an event, as a lot of player new to housing might not know what to do with it.

I feel they could have put a bit more effort into the event, and released a special event home. I would think that a smaller home, that is easy to decorate, would have created a lot more interest in the event, especially from those willing to farm for it.

Because of this very reason, I would SO love it if there were a house in the northern and eastern sectors as well.

Okay I didn’t know that, but my point is that getting it for free would be fine since it is not on the list of houses I am considering buying soon.

Oh right, forgot about that too, lol. I imagine they’d rather give away an old house than a new one, though, and they have a free house coming anyway.
