It's ironic I think. I bet that most of the players that would actually be interested in such a house (those that like to build from scratch) already own it. Those that do not build, would probably prefer an proper house. So, while thematically this reward fits the event, it leaves a lot of people wishing for something else.

I wouldn’t mind having it. I have bought a few notable houses but wouldn’t pay crowns for that one, so getting it for free would be cool. No other house fits the theme.
[edit[ oops, nvm.. was thinking of a different house.ESO_player123 wrote: »katanagirl1 wrote: »ESO_player123 wrote: »i got the estate today. its not even a house just an open patch of concrete.

@katanagirl1 Why would you need crowns for the Surreal Estate? It's available for 1 Mil gold.

Coldharbour Surreal Estate is a great house for setting up Dungeon/Trial Arenas. Setting up school/rehearsal/practice areas utilizing targeet dummies, floor mats, etc.. simulating Dungeon/Trial scenarios. Great way to teach newer players how to position hard/soft stacks, how to turn-n-burn without moving your feet, tank-dps-healer positioning, etc.. and of course helping them improve their parse/rotations.
And it's absolutely perfect if you have the Combat Training furnishings that came out last April.

There's a Worm Cult house in East Solstice. Would have been a nice event reward.
