Proc sets fill in holes in certain builds/playstyles. For instance, Werewolf can't crossheal others (as no Werewolf ability can heal others), so using the Hiti's Hearth proc set to give the group some healing while transformed is very much welcome.

For me, dropping Werewolf just isn't an option. I'm not here to play the meta, so I'm not interested in playing Classes which already have crosshealing abilities.

The poll had no context, so I am making my own.

I would like to see Rush of Agony removed. It’s in every death recap I have. If I survive by blocking, the little bit of health I have left is removed by an ulti dump or VD proc.

Other problematic proc sets should be reviewed on a case by case basis when brought to their attention like RoA.

I enjoyed Ravenwatch. I stoped playing it when it was turned into the same crappy proc set and ball group hell like the other campains.
The only thing I disliked was the slow movement speed due to CP being disabled.

Not proc sets per se but proc sets in PvP that are used as a crutch to substitute for good gameplay.

Just the proc sets that allow one player to do massive, explosive, inescapable, unblockable and unreasonable amounts of damage to other players. And you know exactly the proc sets I am referring to.

And something else we could vote on to have removed:

~ Unkillable sorcerers. Unkillable necrotanks. Unkillable tanks of any kind. Massive over-healing for a few classes. Massive over-shielding for a few classes.

While in the meantime making absolutely sure that stealth must be reined in drastically and all the while listening to the complaining about how overpowered Nightblades are -- which is utterly, utterly untrue.

Except they re-enabled procs and that did nothing to help its popularity. Correlation =/= causation. PvP as a whole lost a massive amount of players. There may have simply not been enough people participating to justify so many campaigns.

Once they have concluded their testing and performance is fixed. It's certainly worth testing if some form of vengeance would be something players are interested in as a campaign.

Ravenwatch was dead long before the re-enabling of procs. It´s like trying to resurrect someone from the dead with CPR after the funeral has finished. It was simply too late. You´re correct that PvP has lost a lot of population, the reasons to why can only be speculated in and there are more than likely several reasons for it as well. I´m however almost convinced that doing the same mistake again isn´t a good idea (aka campaigns with special rulesets outside of CP/NOCP)

Ravenwatch was the most popular campaign on EU before it turned no-proc. Many of the campaign's biggest guilds migrated on patch day in August 2021, and the campaign died a slow death in the following 2 years. It had everything to do with no-proc.

When you eradicate an entire campaign's population and culture through a bad gameplay decision you can't simply undo that by reversing said decision years later. Yes, the overall PVP population is smaller now, and poorly thought-out and executed gameplay decisions such as this contributed to that.

I want PvP to be as Venegance is now however with the following changes.
    • All skill lines still being usable just with simplified abilities, I do not want to be cured of Vampirism or Lycanthropy whenever I go to Cyrodiil.
    • Increased damage on siege weapons with more siege variety, with 70k health Siege is not doing much damage to players at all, your defense against Siege should be dodging it.
    • A Detection Potion should be added to the potions you receive.

Variety is the spice of life. The vengeance campaign gets boring after a while and there are no wild cards that make me say "oh that's a priority enemy." A campaign where victory depends solely on who zergs harder isn't a fun time.

    • Parse Food for PvE:(DPS) Ghastly Eye Bowl (increases Max Magicka by 4592 and Magicka Recovery by 459 for 2 hours).
    • Gold/Purple Food for Sorc PvP and Meme Tanking:(PvP) Clockwork Citrus Filet (increases Max Health by 3326, Health Recovery by 406 [useful if stage 1 vampire], Max Magicka by 3080, and Magicka Recovery by 338 for 2 hours). Witchmother's Potent Brew (Increase Max Magicka by 2856, Max Health by 3094, and Magicka Recovery by 315 for 2 hours.
    • Trash Potions when feeling cheap: Regular CP150 Essence of Magicka pots that I obtain frequently from playing the game or Crown Tri-Restoration Potion obtained from dailies.
    • Crafted Potions: Essence of Spell Critical (Bugloss, Lady's Smock, and Water Hyacinth). Without magelight this is my primary means of obtaining Major Prophecy on my Sorc, which increases my Spell Critical Rating. This also heals and restores magicka. Essence of Immovability (Columbine, Corn Flower, and Wormwood). I use this in PvP, since this gives me stealth detection, knockback immunity, and restores magicka (better to use it when competent allies are nearby, since it might reveal that you are surrounded by multiple players in stealth and you will not have an emergency pot available after use). Essence of Invisibility with only 2 ingredients (Blue Entoloma, Namira's Rot, Nirnroot, or Spider Egg). I use this in PvE content that requires stealth and if I need more speed I'll use Rapid Maneuver before using the potion. Essence of Invisibility with 3 ingredients (Blessed Thistle, Blue Entoloma, and Namira's Rot). Very useful in PvP alongside the vampire Dark Stalker passive, since you'll be invisible, ignore movement speed penalty while in Crouch, and you'll have a 30% movement speed boost from Major Expedition (I always have this slotted when riding from point A to B in PvP land, since gankers are always lurking). My templar/arcanist will mostly use Essence of Health (Tri-Stat Potion) Ingredients: (Mountain Flower, Columbine, and Bugloss).

    I don't understand.

Before Werewolf could taunt, we used the Tormentor proc set to taunt for us, and ZOS recognized the legitimate desire to taunt in Werewolf form and added a taunt to the toolkit. The same can (and should) be done for crosshealing.

I'd like to see a more polished and balanced vengeance-type campaign added as an option, so in that sense I'd like to see proc sets removed. But I would not want to see all of these sets removed from the regular cyro campaign; as one becomes more skilled / familiar with pvp and gets into theory-crafting, it would imo start to become boring very quickly with options limited in such a way. Certainly outlier sets that are causing balance problems could be adjusted without removing all proc sets.

They USED to have a campaign where proc sets were disabled....

Emphasis on "used to." Very few people played it. It was an unpopular campaign. So they got rid of it.

So why are we having this conversation?

Maybe they need all proc sets to be based on a smaller chance.Like a static 15% chance to proc, instead of "on damage proc a huge heal" should be "when doing damage 15% chance to heal 500hp".Cause too many proc sets are used that other sets guarantee a proc, which makes em OP.

The only votes that matter are the people actually interesting in playing such options in the game. The glaring unpopularity of the Ravenswatch campaign and the fact that all other campaigns had to be disabled for them to get people to play Vengeance should tell you how interested people are a special game mode that cuts out a large section of the actual game.

The players have already voted in-game and the result is a glaring no.

Doesn't matter what we want. ZOS has already decided on their path forward and that's what they're gonna do.

More than that, the player community has decided on the campaign they prefer to play.

I do think ZOS missread the community making the no CP campaign the limited set one as well. Without CP gear is king, so many of the established players who homed there abandoned the campaign after the set limit. And there weren't enough new or returning players who disliked the proc meta to sustain it.

It's a shame, because I really liked the format. These days it seems Cyrodiil is most fun when there's an event going on the brings in fresh players.

    This.

Personally I found the Vengeance test to be boring, same as I found the no-proc Cyro in 2021 boring. Being limited to a few sets in PvP feels like I'm playing with training wheels on.

Why must we apply a sledgehammer when a scalpel will do?

If they would have had no proc with CP, more players would have played there. I would play it just to get away from bombers and ball groups. No proc would have to really mean "no proc". Nothing like VD slipping in.

I'm surprised the poll is as close as it is.

Maybe just keep a vengeance campaign with no gear .. idk.
