We're guaranteed to get the rewards in these events, so there's no need to grind for the event specifically, especially if you aren't enjoying it.

Well In future I won't grind it at all..
I'll let others do the ground work and capitalise on the rubbish rewards.

Since the event started, i`ve only received for the past two days the gold style page. Did not get any the before but I did get Shardborn, oh wait that is a chance drop from dailies. I guess I didn`t get anything up until the past two days.

The rewards had been announced even before the event had started. Not liking them is one thing, but it's not like we didn't get what had been promised the whole time.

I dont know, 3 attunable crafting stations, 20 transmutes, all the WW set coffers, a mount, a memento and assorted crafting supplies are pretty good to me.

For further events like this: Don't bother grinding that stuff. Just play. Grind event rewards like mats, or daily boxes, etc., if you think they're worth the effort, but these "community" tasks, do them on the side. I have a character who did West Weald dailies, and two who ran Lucent Citadel now and then. I unlocked the community quest on them and handed in Ayleid things when I dropped them while doing the other stuff. Anything above that is wasted time.
Also, as Syldras said, the rewards were hardly a surprise.

Ohh now that was indeed a fun event!!

I remember it very well. People really wanted to help each other out and it was just a lot of fun. Definitely one of the better events.

Ah the good ol' times. I'm probably on a screenshot no matter if that's pceu or na, depends only if that's the instance with Gina riding us around hehe.

It's not just events and rewards dropped off but the community engagement with developers.

I find the event to be pretty boring too, so after getting the low hanging fruit, I stopped participating outside of the event tickets. And I feel no ill-will about that at all.

Actually, I'm glad the rewards aren't better so the event is easier to walk away from. I'm unhappiest in ESO when I fall into the trap of doing something I don't enjoy because the rewards are too good to ignore like during the jubilee event.

These events are legitimately addictive because of how they interact with the reward systems in our brain. When they start to affect me negatively, I make a point of walking away asap. This game gives us more rewards than we can practically use anyway.

The attunable tables were the best thing. I’ve been saving up writ vouchers to try to get the Grand Master tables and can really use them. I wish they weren’t bound again like last time. I could get the hubby’s then because he doesn’t do crafting.

I will also parrot what others have said - don't ever grind for the events. I do not believe there is any feasible way that ZoS wouldn't give us the rewards. I seriously doubt they are tabulating how much of whatever is being completed. It would look incredibly bad for them in a few different ways if the filled bar didn't increase and hit 100%

As for the rewards, they did announce them before. I agree, they are totally lackluster. Anyone who has participated in the event even a bit would have the gear they gave us. A reskin oozeling pet? Thanks I guess, not my style. A truly atrocious mount? I guess yay for the memes? But nothing in this event stands out as generous, or even worth of an event where they have stated that since this is the 10 year anniversary that this year will have extra great rewards. Please, these were lackluster to the extreme.

We already know what ZoS thinks of the community. We don't have to look further than what the SO of a noted employee said on a stream. Where on earth would she get that impression, unless given by her husband?

It's free stuff, and a lot of it. I don't get what the issue is.

They stated that the YEAR would have extra great rewards throughout it. They did not say that about this particular event. And they have given out a lot of great rewards since then. If you view getting free dlc, houses, mounts, etc as disdain for their customers, then maybe it's time to move on to a new game. They have given away almost all the type of rewards they make. If you can't enjoy anything the game has to offer and it all feels like disdain, maybe it's time to play something you would enjoy. It's not worth playing a game that makes you feel disrespected.

I do quite agree, which is why I spend my dollars in other areas. I do still have friends that I PVP with. But once that comes to an end, sadly my time in Tamriel will as well. As much as I do love it as a whole, I definitely do not feel as though ZoS appreciates it's fans.
