Just bought game and launcher is stuck at 0%

I have disabled my Avast firewall, I ran the launcher with administrator privileges, and repaired the launcher (even though there is nothing to repair yet...) Attached is my Game Consultant report. The launcher says "Checking Download".

EDIT: It decided to fix itself. Hooray I guess.

assuming your connection is fine,
you could try a repair by clicking the little wheel icon on the launcher perhaps
Or perhaps check your windows firewall in the configuration menu if ESO is checked for the exceptional programs that are allowed.
Perhaps the client download itself is corrupted during download and a fresh download from the site would solve it.
Other than that clueless

It might have just fixed itself. It just jumped from 0 to 76%.

Hey there, @david_hoyt_ESO. Also be sure to try turning off any firewall protection you may have, or try adding exceptions to our firewall. You can do so by selecting the Windows Firewall option located in your Control Panel, then System and Security. You'll then select the option "Allow a program or feature through the Windows Firewall". You'll want to add both the "ESO.exe" and "Bethesda.net_Launcher.exe". These files can be found in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Zenimax Online directory. Then click "OK."
