why are there no fixes for the cc bugs/glitches?

Or is it somewhere on the forums, or in one of the other patch notes and im missing it? At the forefront is probably the unbreakable CC that seems to happen with the rune of eldrich horror/morphs from arcanist. Its always nice to get cc'd by that glitchy ability, thats already slower to break, and then have to eat a beam, and whatever else, for the duration.

But its not just that skill, there are other skills that do this. I dont care enough anymore to figure it out, all i know is that every couple days ill be fighting a few people and end up getting CC'd and not be able to break it and just have to sit there with my character glitched trying to half dodge roll, or half CC break, and then die. The last time it happened was from an incap CC, but its happened with other skills as i said.

You get off your mount sometimes and you're sprint glitched. You have to dodge roll to break it. Which doesnt help you when you get off because someone wanted to fight and you dont realize it right away, while you're just eating damage.

All of these issues, will any be fixed? I mean i know it really only impacts pvp, and more so the people who are actually paying attention in pvp, so it goes to the bottom of the list but it would be nice to see some of these things make the cut in the bug fix and improvement update. And lets not forget being stuck in combat constantly. I have to carry ravage health pots and camps everywhere now so i can kill myself and respawn if i need to change or slot something.

Maybe you guys are aware of these things, and maybe the plans for fixes are hidden away in some forum thread or something, but i didnt see it in the main patch notes for next patch. And im not entirely sure if zos is aware of it or not. But i have video's if you want. Id be happy to hear they are aware and a fix is coming next patch.

"I am very sorry we have not been able to get this issue resoled for you. I am sorry to say that we are unable to reset or abandon the quest, but we believe this issue is related to a known issue with zone and quest progress not being correctly registered/displayed in-game. Some quests will show as not being completed, even though they have, which causes other issues such as not being able to access areas related to the quest.

This will be resolved in a future update."

So in the mean time I can not advance the soul magic skill line, at least not until some undetermined time in the future.

Don't worry, big bugfix update dropping! The alchemy writ-turn-in boxes will now animate properly. I know we were all pretty concerned about that one.

Maybe with bugfixes will come a big unexplained nerf to Magsorc.

The grouping tool hasn't worked properly in years. Get in line.

i get the sentiment but thats different, but still something that should have been fixed years ago, like being stuck in combat. But this type of thing just ruins pvp. I was watching someone stream today, nes eso, and literally watched him get cc glitched like 3 times in 5 minutes. Twice from javeline and once from something else. Its an absolute joke, and most of the time a guarenteed death. And for it to happen so often is pathetic.

So it's an interesting thing because I believe this also only really happens in PVP. I don't really seem to see this in PvE and even then it happens more during lag of course.

So this would lead me to believe that the issue is more related to the part of the game engine/ server that handles interactions with clients when someone gets cc'd.

So you get cc'd but there's lag or the server is bogged. Your cc registers then you send a break free immediately and the server delays in registering this input vs all the other actions going in and out. Problem is that there are several incoming damage inputs coming in so in that time it process all or some of them while your cc break is still in queue. You get the picture.

So this would lead me to believe that upgraded servers/ code are needed to resolve the issue.

You could test this out by going with a friend into an instanced area like IC or dueling in an abandoned area at off peak times and I'd guess cc break will work fairly well.

Also funny thing if you set slippery in cp that thing seems to trigger properly all of the time so I think it goes to show that automated code like that which doesn't come from player actions is processed with priority over player actions.

ive heard the arcanist one can be reproduced, and mainly happens on the charm morph. And with some things like javeline, people just spam it until you get glitched. Its a joke, and its been happening for so long, and i cannot belive the didnt address it in this patch.

But it only effects people who care about combat in pvp, meaning that it gets moved to the bottom of the zos to do list.
