ALL (non)sprinting animations are bad now.

    Funny enough, that's one of the better looking personalities with this change. Seems ZOS wants us to all be clowns.

    My tiger mount walking with major gallop does a goofy-looking slow sprint instead of a walk. I haven't checked it out on PTS though but I'm hoping at least that is fixed.

    What we need is way to choose our speed regardless of our buffs. If I toggle WALK I want to be able to walk at normal speed.

    I will say that there's a reason I specifically don't have 'Continuous Assault' on unless I'm trying to do something in Cyrodiil, and even then I respec it off immediately after I'm done.

    I believe with these changes, it does end up making mounts look more reasonable, especially if you've got Major Gallop on. However, I don't think the answer to "my mount looks weird" is "let's fix the mounts by making unmounted movement look even worse!"

    I don't have a chance to check the PTS, but was this issue fixed for werewolves and players with the recent PTS update that was about movement speed?

    From what I'm seeing on the PTS, yes, it all seems fixed.

    I was just about to say "it's not likely since they usually address patch X.0 issues in the X.2 patch," but then I reread the patch notes and saw I missed that line. So I went to check, and...

    I at least am running through with a werewolf, and it doesn't look like total slippy slidey ice world anymore. The RP walk doesn't seem to match 1:1, but it's pretty close, and my speed-boosted wolf is going into the all-fours sprint animation without me pushing the sprint button again so I don't have the ridiculousness of last patch. And after checking Live, it's looking the same.

    More importantly, the jester waddle animation seems to be back if you RP with Wild hunt, so it looks like the animation chosen is back to depending on move speed so fast walking does show the 'jog' animation for M&K players again. That does also mean that if he's wearing Assassin/Thief and not 'sprinting,' he'll fall back into the default sprint animation because he's moving fast enough and those personalities don't have custom sprint animations.
    ...so if I want to see him run with those personalities, I just take off the speed boost and it's back.

    I'd hope someone else can check, but it's looking pretty well fixed from my end.

    Yeah, definitely was reverted which... actually doesn't bode well. Like, I'm glad it doesn't look the way it did but it seems their habits lately are to try stuff out with the general populous and if people complain about quality their fix is to just roll it back and not bother instead of... actually fixing it?

    That's a fair point but honestly at this point I'm just relieved that the original monstrosity is out of the way. I'm also happy that they actually did something about this BEFORE it hit live and existed for a minimum of two weeks before maybe being fixed.

    Fortunately we can take off those passives to see the animations. Wanting to see the animations at speed is NOT worth coating Tamriel in a thin layer of ice and making everything else look completely ridiculous.

    And as we said, for anyone who plays on mouse and keyboard, 'RP walk with speed increase' is the only way to see the 'jog' animations on some of the other personalities.

    What a rollercoaster for werewolf fans, haha. Now tell me that they're undoing the destruction staff nerfs (which are not needed, given how many meta builds already tell you to ditch them for melee weapons). No, please... tell me sweet lies. :-P

    They are totally undoing the staff nerfs (this is a sweet lie, and one that I wish to believe myself)
