Back in WoW they'd always ask what my "healing rotation" was... My reply usualy tended to be "I don't need to use a rotation, my healing depends on your stupidity"
I wish they just ban those damage add-ons. It's nice to see how much damage I do, but the moment people are going to judge you by how much damage you do in a few seconds, is the moment the add on should be deleted.

Just stating so people wouldn't comment on me not reading all the post to get all the fact ect ect as I was just answering/giving my opinion on the OP.
Ps. @Mr_Majestyk I think you put it nicely. Basicly what i was trying to say with very few variations you just took it from the middle standpoint. Gj
True. But should they be able to force you to list all your gear, skills etc. just to play in a LFG?Malediktus wrote: »You cant force people to play with you.
This reminds me of those terrible kids who used to try out for the basketball team, and would cry when they got cut because they were awful. Like they should've been let on the team simply because they tried out.
Look, I'm glad you want to play basketball, but we are trying to win games. Come back next year if you are better. In the mean time, work on your game.
The only difference is that I was always willing to work with those terrible kids (when not practicing/playing games) to make them better. You won't find many willing to help you improve your game online.
I think how MMO's have become in the last 10 years are words like "Veteran Rank's" or "Veteran Dungeons" it gives people that "This is for ELITE players only, keep up or get out!" Or special icons and stuff to stand out saying "Look at me, im the best"
I guess the days are over when a new area gets released for everyone and not only the elite or veteran players. It's a way to separate users from one another. Your either the best or not.

Wow. Healing rotation?
No such thing. xD
All about dem priorities, yo!
Only YOU can see your DPS when using an addon such as Recount. Zeni changed the API to that effect right before release.I wish they just ban those damage add-ons. Not even close to being the same. ESO is like being able to use a football while playing basketball or using a football while playing baseball. And also your paying $14.99 a month to play this sport that everyone else has access to. (Meaning ESO gives the ability to use something different, to you know...HAVE FUN)
Yet when you try out for the team only a set amount of players slap your wrist for playing with a football while playing basketball. Told 'That isn't the best way to score point's" and kicked off the team.

In my experience it's got little to do with gear etc. but how you play that matters, especially in a game like ESO where you have a lot more flexibility in build etc.
If someone continually lets down a group then that's one thing. To 'cherry pick' players is just sad given that most content is not a problem to clear even if a player is still learning or a bit undergeared.

Actually the way mmos have developed that's not entirely true. I mentioned enrage timer earlier as an example but even without that let put it in a form.stefaan.de.wasch1b16_ESO wrote: »stefaan.de.wasch1b16_ESO wrote: »Well... aslong as people don't start asking about your "rotation" I'm good really...

Indeed... but alot of people only seem to think in terms of "gear," "rotation," "min-maxing" ...
It's not the car you drive, it's how you drive it
