    Yes take my money!
Other: I would not pay for a class change token because I rather see a system like Final Fantasy XIV where I can play any class on the same character simply by loading the config I want to play.

    @Alinhbo_Tyaka
IF ZOS would introduce "class slots" per character.
Every character starting with one "class slot"
Meaning that if you would for example buy one (for crowns) you could toggle between two classes and if you would buy for example three, you could toggle between four classes.

    IF ZOS would introduce this
(whereby noted that you would have to level for every class the class abilities again)

How many crowns would you pay for a "class slot" ?

Yes there is, classes are still "balanced" under their vision, it's the character who is able to swap between the classes.

The character would still have to be leveled from 1 to the max, and their class skills at the least would need to be leveled too. ZOS can decide what to do with weapon/guild skill lines (they may, for the sake of balance for u50 pvp, have them start at level 1). Players already have dozens of class/build/resource/race/alliance combos to pick from that the 20 slots can't facilitate, by implementing class change features we can finally explore all options rather than be forced to delete a character.

Suggesting to players to delete characters rather than continue to build them up is poor form, especially in this game where players often perceive radical meta changes.

Think of Weapon Skills like Martial Arts, just as an individual can know multiple martial arts and disciplines, so too could a character. You're allowed to know Karate and Jujitsu, but the skills you would use in a Karate competition are different than what you would use when practicing Jujitsu- however when used in a MMA fighting arena, you would combine the skills.

Now think of different jobs- such as a bus driver and a software engineer. These would be the equivalent of different classes in ESO, it's possible to be both separately, but you are only ever really doing the function of one at a time, and you have to wear different things to both jobs and develop your skills differently.

Will get the free character slot with the chapter and buy the other one for crowns from my ESO+ sub, intend to use both.

Kinda curious to see how effective the max level companions are at helping getting new characters to level 50.

Specifically planning to use Mirri as a healer/damage dealer hybrid, on my new low level characters too see if it makes kill grinding easier or if it just ends up a hinderance.

As for class change token, honestly not bothered either way if we get the option or not, not something I personally need, won't oppose it being added to the game just don't think it's likely that it will.

If it was something they could easily do I would have fully expected them to have had it up for sale along the other various tokens in the crown store a long time ago.

No, I actually like leveling new characters, there's something comforting about the process, and more importantly I get to customize the new character in a different way. If my Vestige is, say, a necromancer, then that ties with their background, the choices I make in the game, how I customize them. If that character turned to a warden, that identity would no longer make sense. And it's really handy to have alts for different content, and roles. That's why I wouldn't use a class change token, though it would be cool to have the option for those who want it, but there's also the fact that it would completely invalidate, character slots, skyshards, skill lines, etc.m in the store, so I don't see it happening.

(I believe it should be free but can't see it happening)

None of these options, just make the class into skill lines so we have a choice to start over and regrind with a new character as a new class or continue with our current character and add to our class with new skills. Kinda like Spell crafting but with new skills, I guess it would be class crafting or just another Elderscrolls game like skyrim, morrowind, dagger...yeah every ELDERSCROLLS game outside of this one thats a RPG.

No, I wasn’t looking for another class to play before the announcement and I don’t think I need one now. If I can give it a shot on PTS I might change my mind but I’m not laying money on that: I already have more characters than I play regularly.

I wouldn't pay for one class slot. One of the problems to me with many ESO players is they start right off with an "I will pay for ??? if you do it" for things that are part of the base game in other MMOs. They then turn around and complain about the cash shop. Being able to easily change classes at will should be part of the base game. If they want to make it part of ESO+ subscription service as they do being able to dye gear I'm fine with that but anything that deals with a token in the cash shop to monetize game play functions I'm against.

Trying to ignore the biased assumptions in the poll options - no, I would not use a class change token. I only used the race change tokens they gave out a few years ago to tweak the appearence of my characters, I wouldn't completely change them.

I'm not exactly a role-player, but I do like to make actual characters - people with a backstory and a personality, not simply a set of stats for me to play. I factor the class in when designing them and it would be weird to change it after the fact. There are ways to make it work if I really wanted to, but I'd rather make a new character.

I would sell my kidney for a class change token of any kind. The lack of it has stopped me from enjoying the game far too many times, I just hit a wall and look at all the things my main has and I just call it quits. A class change token would literally 'fix' ESO for me.

... hyperbole right there, the game has tons of issues, with the biggest being a lack of a proper reward system, I mean, most cool items go in the crown store and I disagree with that.

Okay so you want the class but don't want to do the content?
Why do you wan the class then? What do you plan to do with the class if not all those things you said you don't want to do?

If everyone here spent half the time they spend wishing for a class change token, making an alt and learning how to play it You would have it. (Because lets face it there is no reality where if they did introduce a class change token they would give you fully leveled skill lines.) Not only that, the framework for throwing your money at them to not have to level skill lines and skyshards is right there already why would they self sabotage by making a class token?

Can we please just get a poll for once that says "Yes" vs "No"? You add these little quips on the end of the poll responses and it totally devalues the responses.

    I voted No because
    1. I'm not that interested in playing the Arcanist in the first place
    2. I wouldn't want to change my main into another class! I call my main, "my main" not because of all the attribute points and skills it has, but because of how I prefer to play the class it is and my familiarity with that class! The class identity is important to me.

I don't mind if they created Class Change Tokens, but I personally will never buy one. I personally only create new characters in classes that I've never played before. I find the first 50 levels a perfectly fine introduction to the class so that I can learn how it works in a "new player" environment. With a Class Change Token, I worry that it allows someone to swap to something they have no knowledge with. Would I see a 2k CP Warden, who just class changed from DK 10 minutes ago, join my PUG? And they have no idea how Warden works? Seems like it just allows bad gameplay.
