I don't mind one person being able to take on 2, maybe 3 people. But once you get into the realm of one person being able to take damage from 5 or more players, and even being able to stand tall and fight back, there is a balancing issue. One player should not be able to single handedly take damage from 6 players and not show any semblance of damage.

I've played a lot of mmos but I never experienced such broken pvp balance.
I hope they fix it and soon, but tbh I think that combat should be reworked(sets, classess, especially approach with sets, too many of them, hard to make new, balanced sets) without such actions I doubt that pvp balance in this game will be on 'acceptable' level.
They've already nerfed DK to the ground but still not enough?
Believe me, it has nothing to do with classes with op skills. You just need to get the rhythm of PvP better. There are some sets that are much, much better than others but if you don't know how to play the game they won't magically save you.

PvP has tons of players you need to be defensive and have potential to burst with your most damaging skills in a small window to get kills. Sure you can go with glass cannon builds you get a kill or two maybe but as soon as 5 guys pile up on you which is usually the case in PvP you'll turn into dust.
Don't get me wrong, you'll get slaughtered with defensive build too if you think you can handle 5 guys face on. Defensive stuff just for creating enough time to kite their attacks around a rock, make them chase you while you heal and split their group then drop everything you have on one of the unlucky guys to get a kill. Then rinse and repeat. You can do this on glass cannon build as well, but then you won't have much time to run around that rock to create said window and you'll spend more time trying to stay alive.

What are you talking about? OP clearly stated he plays a Dragonknight this patch and takes full advantage of how broken the class is.
Dragonknight “nerfs”… isn’t that something to laugh about. What aspect of playing a Dragonknight isn’t performing?
Damage? Best Damage Over Time abilities in the game, without sacrificing any burst, Molten Whip and Flames of Oblivion are absolutely phenomenal.
Mitigation? Ferocious Leap provides a massive shield when activated, Corrosive Armor caps all incoming damage at 3% of your max health each hit… don’t forget their passives.
Healing? Cinder Storm is a 70% snare and an unending Healing Springs that also generates ultimate and gives back around a thousand Stamina for FREE, Shattering Rocks is an unblockable, undodgeable CC that gives a burst heal when the stun is broken, Burning Embers gives back Magicka every time you activate it, and provides a consistent Heal Over Time. Whenever you use your ultimates, the best ones in the game mind you, you get another burst heal.
Sustain? Players can spam Cinder Storm with one Infused Reduce Magicka Cost glyph and get unlimited Stamina, even while blocking, for free. Whenever you apply Burning or Poisoned to an enemy you get resources back for free. After using any ultimate, you get resources back, once more, for free.
There isn’t one area of the Dragonknight struggling, so once more, if you could point me to how this class isn’t performing, I would love to hear it.

Tried to cap Ash yesterday morning and there were 15-20 blues out front defending. All sword & board DKs with swollen health bars. Noped out of there and just logged off.
Stop nerfing. Take the Templar nerfs back, and they’ll be on par with DKs and wardens. Nightblades are not in a terrible place PvP. Bring back necro bombs that were nerfed. And go back with sorcs a bunch of patches ago … Now we’re out of tank meta, people can spec in defense or damage or support and be more effective in one and less in others. And everyone can feel OP in different areas… This nerf nerf nerf is so ridiculous. I haven’t played my plar in 4 months in PvP and it’s my favorite character. Everyone is running the exact same builds doing the exact same thing (in PvE as well, but this thread isn’t about that). Just stop the nerfs and bring other classes in line. Period.
No, what we need is decent pvp balance, not constant sufferingMidniteOwl1913 wrote: »I've played a lot of mmos but I never experienced such broken pvp balance.

Not more combat changes! No! There have been so many in the last year. Don't we all need a break?
