I've seen strange sexual innuendo about coldflame atronachs and a topless picture of Darien, but not a single word about the upcoming chapter yet. Unfortunately, we can't confirm anything yet. All we can really do is remind everyone to keep an eye out on our channels.

So despite knowing where you are going, and what you want to do, you are unsure of whether you can actually achieve it and do not want to have to back out on it whether for the first time or for a second time, and want to wait until you can get a few things done behind the scenes, that likely will not be discussed with players about, before you make the announcement.
Assuming that is anywhere near true, then it has nothing to do with the story or the location. You normally do not announce the things for quarters 3 and 4 during this announcement, but this year is not a normal year, so that could be changing. I don't see a lot happening with the Q1 Dungeon DLC. So that would mean that either there is something big coming with the chapter, which prior announcements have suggested, or you are going to give us an insight now into what you are planning for the end of the year. But, you guys like to be tight lipped (almost to a fault in my opinion) and I don't see that changing, so it would stand to reason that that you are really stretching to accomplish what you are trying to work into this chapter.
If any of that is even close to accurate, I am excited to see what you have planned. Thank you for the insights @ZOS_Kevin I wish you and your team luck in achieving your goals.0 -

I honestly think it's very simple: the reveal will probably be part of the Direct Xbox show (as mentioned in the post above and reported on by Windows Central), since Bethesda is now part of Xbox and Microsoft. ZOS (and Kevin) can't communicate about this until Xbox announces it, this announcement is due this week.
I'm pretty sure the moment Xbox announces it, ZOS can also communicate the date, wether or not that is paired with a hint or a tease remains to be seen, but I sure hope so because I love the hype.

It could but this event is mostly about games slated for 2023, short term releases. Even starfield is mentioned as being omitted because they want to market it at a later date.

I can see that. However, I am still left to ask, if that is where they plan on announcing everything, then why not just say, "Just watch the Xbox Showcase." That might be where they plan to announce something, but the fact that they are being so vague about when we will get something suggests they are not sure when they will be ready. Okay, they like to be tight lipped, and maybe this is one of those moments, but it feels like more. The fact that Kevin is getting involved, leaves me thinking they are pushing hard to achieve something.1 -

As a suggestion for the future, I'd like to see more emotes that other players can interact with (similar to the "Witch's Bonfire Dust" momento or the "Soul Gem, Parchment, Clippers" emote). Perhaps an emote like "Ritual Casting" could have players interact with it to perform their own random emotes (/kowtow, /kneelpray, /ritual, or that sacrifice animation where the player is lifted up by the chest and flails around)0
