Redguard's passives are so dumb to me. They don't even match their lore. Redguards are the front-line fighters, not tanks. That sword and board passive needs to go. It should be replaced by a bonus for all bladed weapons. They are the sword Singers.

I doubt Imperials will get more love because they have to purchased.

I would say argonian as they only have 2 areas where as the bosmer have 3, Greenshade, Malabal Tor and Grahtwood.

I was thinking more along the lines of racial passives tbh, the OP's directions encompass a lot of gameplay, but when people talk about racial stuff they usually mean passives. My assessment of Bosmer and Redguard needing some TLC heavily suggested that the passives get looked at.

If we compare Argonian to anything it should probably be Khajiit, but at the same time the things most would want to explore are shrouded in mystery, so no huge rush. Murkmire was aight, and we got blackwood too on top of shadowfen, so that makes 3.

Would personally prefer Imperial but TES has only brought me pessimism in regards to Imperial "content".

However with no bias Bosmer ultimately need it the most out of things since they've been left in the dust and then Redguards.

Dunmer can go and stay at the back of the line because there is a clear bias for the Dunmer in TES that spreads across everything.

Altmer is my preference, but Redguards really need a new zone. They still only have 1.5 zones, Alik'r and south Bangkorai.

I didn't even care that much about this at the time... except it made me so sad that ZOS didn't listen to the community on something so simple. Now it seemed like foreshadowing of things to come.

Let's get a release focused on Bosmer and get their stealth restored!

Don't ever tell me that 1000 stamina every 5 seconds when you have to ATTACK for it, is superior to either 258 stamina recovery every 2 seconds (850 every 6 seconds without buffs) or 2000 health (without buffs)

Yes, without...buffs....can you tell me what redguard passive, compared to any other race has a passive that can be increased with an easily accessible buff?


Altmer - spell damage
Dunmer - spell damage and weapon damage
Bosmer - Stamina Recovery
Orsimer - Weapon damage
Breton - magica recovery
Nord - Health
Imperial -Health
Argonian -Health
Kahjiit - Health, recoveries


It always bugged me that 1000 stamina every 5 seconds. 5 seconds is a lot of time to pass, not only that it isn't automatic, something must be hit.

Even though on paper it's like 400 stamina recov every 2 seconds, in practice it's a failure. One must wait 5 seconds to get it AND attack. It should be changed to 400 stamina back every 2 seconds upon attack. Note this is the same amount, just with a more reliable resource regain over time.

or it can be switched with 350 stamina recov.


Then we have the reduction of weapon skills. Most stamina weapon skills are cheap and are below 2k. 8% of 2k= 160 stamina per hit.

2k/160=12 uses. That I have to do to see benefit of getting in an extra hit due to the weapon %....

So I would have to have at minimum 24k STAMINA. To see a benefit. This is why I say most % reductions are inferior to raw stamina recovery. The fastest you can do a move is one second.

so unless you are fighting a dummy the max you save is 320 stamina...YOU MUST ATTACK!!! while stamina recovery on the other hand with buffs, you can move around, stand, hide, etc...AND GET THE RESOURCES BACK !!!

You want me, a redguard to be on the attack with no offensive damage buff. No defensive buff...to stand in front of somebody attacking to save resources? Have > 30k stamina but have no health? Spending resources...to save resources...that don't make no sense.

You know, I just realized I might have just unraveled something bigger than redguard.

I am going to come back in january and make a list of all the ON PAPER sets, buffs and debuffs in the game.

I was so shocked when I saw one set that was not proc....do the same damage as a proc set that had more crit and offensive damage on it...Then I realized...what zos did here...most sets will net you the same DPS...looks good on paper...but in practice....does the same...I need to go back into the game and just see all these sets...sets that output the same amount of dps....but are less dependable because they proc....They might do the same DPS over time but they surely don't do the same healing...BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO ATTACK TO PROC IT!!!! HAAHAHAHHA...So that means the non proc set that does the same DPS is superior overall. I can't say the names of these sets right now...

All I will say is you see 400+ offensive damage on proc....but...what does that really mean defensively? Passively? When not attack? How much damage can you do while not actively attacking? How much healing can you do without actually attacking? How much resources do you get back without attacking?

Think about these questions and unravel the truth. You'll then realize the better/stronger sets are always in another castle....

Redguards are forgotten.
