The game needs to draw people back to it given the apparent exodus of late. New class(es) could help stimulate that.

I'd like an archer who could actually fire arrows farther than about 40-45m. When I found out that was the limit, I stopped wasting my time leveling up the archery skills. It's just not a realistic limit.

Bards are either: One, a musician, usually playing music in inns/taverns. Or two, a "class" name for someone who is of the thief archtype and uses skills such as speech, blades, mercantile, illusion, alchemy or such. They don't string a lute and stun enemies or call down a thunderstorm.
I just want an Unarmed skill line :'(

But bleed damage only if you hit the nose!
Somehow more serious. Would unarmed combat be physical or magical?
Is it more like jacky chan style with fists, elbows, knees, feets maybe some jumping included? I dont think this would fit into ESO.
Or is it more magical? Fire / Shock / Magical fist. Magical block / barrier. Rush, something like streak (now for any class).

Well, once I try to build my second character as mag-sorc DPS.
But, I quit it finally. Stam DPS is better for most of the class.
Because it's more suitable fighting style for the action game.
Then, class difference is not so big difference, maybe DK is
slightly better than other though.
If ZOS can build more action game friendly class, the I expect new class.
But, ESO itself is very "fake" action game for me.

More people started playing during the pandemic as they had noting better to do. Player numbers are now back to where they were pre-pandemic, if not a little higher, according to all available sources. \o/

In Oblivion I was able to snipe larger enemies at pretty impressive ranges as in far over 100 meter.Kiralyn2000 wrote: »I'd like an archer who could actually fire arrows farther than about 40-45m. Don't think there's an MMO I've played that had "realistic" ranges for ranged weapons. It's purely about game/encounter balance.
(like tabletop miniatures games where super-tech sci-fi rifles fired by genetically-engineered supersoldiers only have a range of 24" / 50m, and "artillery" has ranges under 200m)

Uhm, because ESO is not an action game maybe?
