When you become a shareholder in the company. The time that you (or I ) have spent here does not give you any stronger or louder voice than anyone else. Your opinion is just that - YOUR opinion.

Do you guys seriously think ZoS is going to implement every suggestion that comes from the player base? PTS is more for bug finding (not fixing) and minor issues. They already have a plan, timeline, and direction in place. If found bugs get fixed before that deadline, great - if not it will still be pushed out on their timeline.

I DO believe that they value the input and look seriously at many of the valid suggestions (some changes have made it into the game over the years), but it's delusional to think that they are going to make MAJOR changes once something goes to the PTS. The PTS is MUCH too far in along in the process to rewrite weeks and months of code. The only time you will see that kind of change is if there is a true game breaking problem.

Counterpoints:

-In the PTS forum threads, we are often asked a series of specific questions. At the very least, one would think those areas are up for tweaking, or why ask the questions at all?
-Definitely most of us understand that major changes can't be reversed in the same patch cycle. However ZOS often communicates in great detail about even tiny changes, often with little jokes and commentary. So ACKNOWLEDGING hopefully unexpected objections and perspectives, with just an "oops, we didn't realize, we will try to revisit/enhance later" would be so much better than the general impression we are getting now which is that communication is one way (from ZOS to us) and we are basically screaming into the oblivion unnoticed. Yes, they listen to input but not in a holistic way by considering all viewpoints or conducting surveys or responding after initial requests for feedback. It also often feels like they listen to the loudest feedback rather than the most nuanced and knowledgeable feedback. I personally think the bar should be responding to our input, not necessarily dropping everything and doing it immediately.

I continue to hope we will get follow up responses to U33 and U35, also. And now U36 apparently. Because it is not too late and the effect of continued silence builds. The people who don't quit in outrage slowly fade away. I'm one of those people. I'm still here, but logging in much less and the Crown Store is no longer a temptation to me.
