There is a real problem on Auriel's Bow

@Red_Panda Talking about the NA one.

Oh....I didn't realize that...should have been obvious since there are actually two server types. Silly me. Well on the EU severs EP is behaving like people are saying AD is on the NA sever.

Or, instead of wasting our time looking for several hundred Oceanic players it would require to even things out, we can go on a balanced server where we're not outnumbered 10 to 1 all night! I switched my Home to Wabbajack a few days ago. Best decision to make.
I log off last night at 1am: EP and 6 keeps 4 Scrolls, DC has 7 keeps 1 Scroll, AD has 5 keeps 1 Scroll.
I wake up this morning at 9am and log in: only thing that changed was that the AD took a keep back from the DC.
I take a glance at Auriel's Bow: AD has all keeps and all Scrolls, despite having only 3 keeps and no Scrolls when I checked at 1am.
AD wants Auriel's as an unopposed server at night? Take it. Enjoy the next Dawnbreaker.

We'll guest over tonight with 20 people and take everything just for you ;) You won't mind if your 2 defenders come here and complain we zerged them 10:1, amirite? o.O

p.s. you don't see the NA timezone AD's sooking "despite having only 3 keeps and no Scrolls .... at 1am" because they got tag teamed by overwhelming odds all day.

Considering there are 30 or so Vet 10s from Vokundein Guild playing during their Oceanic prime time, I ain't worried. And even if you do, they won't mind. Vokundein likes competition... that's why they all left Goldbrand. There was no one on to fight.
The reason you guys aren't "sooking" is because you hold most of the map for 2/3s if not 3/4s of the day. You know no matter what EP or DC does during they day is irrelevant.
Still don't see how you guys can derive fun siegeing near empty keeps with hundreds of players and taking Scrolls unopposed for weeks on end...

Wait, lets get this straight. From you own words:

For appox. 16-18 hours of the day we (Oce/SEA) control everything, and when we go to bed and wake up in the morning EP/DC have taken everything back to " 3 keeps and no Scrolls ... ".

By your logic we should be the ones "sooking" because all the work we did the night before is for naught?

Sign insight, such perspective ... you should get into politics ...

AD has the map for 16-18 hours a day, not just because of how the OCE/SEA does in off hours, but because at this point EP and DC don't even bother logging in until prime time. Losing your keeps and Scrolls during prime time is irrelevant because you hold it for much longer than you lose it.
Also, what the hell is "sooking"? I thought you meant "sulking", but clearly that's not what you're saying.

So if the changes from the PTS go over live, how would aoes only affecting six targets at once effect things since apparently it applies to pvp has well, would differently have to re-work tactics and healing among other things.

Gold. Titan alliance v2 crying there are no enemies to fight after they guild stack their faction. Grow some balls and split your stupid alliance (aka Elite v DIE days in UO).

Fact of the matter is, the oceanic mmo community is too small and splintered across multiple mmos to support your mega alliance.

From what I've gleaned, the people playing on Auriel's Bow during the NA off hours are an AD Australian Guild of several hundred people. I could be wrong, though, but it would make sense.

We didn't come to TESO as an Alliance. Have you seen any fanfare or nut-cupping? We came to check the game out and gauge it's viability. Combined the ex-TA guilds run one raid group (24 people) each night, most of whom are Synapse.

We've ventured into other campaigns as guests (Bloodthorne & Wabbajack), where the maps are painted Red and/or Blue and found DC and EP hiding there under their security blanket ganking the undermanned factions. Not enough of them to sustain a competitive environment in that timezone in the individual campaigns, but more than enough to make Auriel's Bow interesting each night and alleviate the transition in manpower that it experiences from NA -> Oce Prime.

The only people who need to grow a pair are the other Oce guilds who have approached us pre-launch in several game now, to create an unofficial Oce server and promise to compete, then fall apart at the seams because they aren't riding our well tailored coat tails.

The Oceanic MMO community isn't "too small", but in TESO it is splintered. AB's AD didn't majicka-ly attract the whole Oceanic community now did it?

What alliance/stacking? O_O We've never ran more than 1 full raid group (that's 24 people, FYI, incase you didn't know) in PvP since headstart, and almost always had a couple others from Elite/PRX tagging along. You, my friend, either need to learn to learn to properly gauge the number of players on your screen (we've been called a 100-man zerg by MrDDT  ), or you need to not jump to conclusions on how many people we actually have.

P.S. Asking people to "grow some balls"... ;)

Anyway, I don't see how 20 less SYN + a few of our friends will dampen the almighty AD oceanic zerg every night. ;) (in case some people don't know, it's been stated that each campaign has 1800 slots, which means that a faction at "full" pop = 600 people)

It's painfully obvious what goes on in AB. Most AD stack, on purpose, one side, full time during our down but not all. Lets face it, some people log in to play, and don't care what time of the day--but at the same time, it's not above the average human being to log-in during down-times of other factions. It's not above them to feel egotistical about seeing their faction #1 or feeling like their army "pwns" everything. Is it 100+ zerg? Yes. I took the liberty of counting a close estimate of passing by armies.

We don't see guild names, and I'd sincerely wish people would stop going pelvis first into this discussion about their "pro-hur-dur" guild or claiming their isn't any competition. Make your own bloody competition if things aren't owning up. If you're incapable of that, you're worse then the unorganized groups out there that are still trying to scrape things together to fight back (not saying they're bad for trying). If anything, I'm discouraged of from ever going AD side on an alt if this is how their guilds are acting.

What do you think the others did? They left when plans don't work. I wouldn't want to keep running into a wall if it doesn't look like there is even a dent, why should they? They found their own fun. Made their own competition, some probably doing what that portion of AD are doing to AB (not the right thing to do) because they put up that horrible example.

AD is under the spotlight for this because of AB being so active--with a large bunch of bad apples that are spoiling the rest. And this does direct to the other factions and guilds doing it to the other campaigns as well--they're no better.

If you want a good time to log in? I get on 3-5pm EST into Cyrodil mostly, and even then factions are pretty balanced AND full. If there is no fight, I log out or do something else. No AP in playing one-sided wall smasher. Avoid the later times when it starts getting close to morning hours.

I enjoy fighting the better people during those times. I suggest others do the same and find hours of their enjoyment that avoids the "stacking armies" entirely.

TLDR, content patch 1.1 is "fixing" Faction imbalance in Cyrodil so when one or 2 sides are seriously outnumbered they will get a buff so that they are roughly = to the higher pop Faction. The problem with this ofc is the smaller gank squads on the underpop Factions will destroy all but small armies on the higher pop Faction at that time.

It could work, or it could not. The only hope is that Zenimax gives the population enough time to adapt if things go one-sided again. They better be fixing up the oil too or we're going to be in real trouble. :s

The balance buff for underpop Factions should work fine, in large scale battles. I can already see the hilarity of small 5-10 player gank squads roaming the wilds of Cyro steamrolling everything in sight with that buff, lol.

They do. Every day when I was on Auriel's, I'd log in about 9am EST and the AD had taken every keep and every Scroll overnight when they were at High/Full and DC and EP were at Low.
As to "winning the campaign", there is no way to win, you have to wait the 90 days until they reset.

Even then, if the exploit continues, the end reward bonus gained by faction placement can easily be nerfed and called on "player fault" and "neccessary"--if of course it proves to be worth anything and it won't after they're done.

I can't speak for the other people on this thread, but my problem isn't with the time zones. It's when nearly every AD player piles onto the same server, outnumbering us about 10-1 every night, then complain when the server gets abandoned and ask us to leave servers where we're having good competition and come back to Auriel's because they're bored.
Oh, and when they call EP an DC "***" for abandoning the server, utterly ignoring the fact the AD has abandoned 5 servers so far. That's a good one too.
And speaking as one of the several hundred Canadians playing this game, please don't associate us with stereotypical Americans :s
    We're in their timezones too.
