There's a lot of salty console players in the thread complaining about addons when they know FULL WELL, that if they could get those addons for their respective console, they'd be fully loaded in a heartbeat.

Now prove the doubters wrong and do it again without the mods, show us all that ESO isn't going to go the way of WoW where addons like DeadlyBossMods made raids more a game of Simon Says than an actual raid.

(former console player, pc player now)
Console guys, you have to understand that you are playing a handicapped version of the game (eso is native on pc). Addons help but they don't play the game for you, it's the game that is way better on pc and the players are more competitive.

This is not the case in Rockgrove. While you may see many addon notifications in their video, I feel that many of them are superfluous and actually distracting. For example, I don't understand why the addon author decided to add the "Add Spawning" text on the first boss (the in-game telegraph is extremely obvious) or why the addon author decided to add a timer for the Prime Meteor detonation (it's not actionable information, plus, there is a pretty clear in-game telegraph indicating how close you are to detonation).
The more important "Now try it without" clause that I don't see anyone pointing out is not addons, but rather Mist Form, which points to major content balancing issues in this trial.

Sorry, these threads always rub me the wrong way as PC players have the ability to do this on PTS for practice, use add ons etc. I would love to see a full trial with pc players not using add ons at all.
Grats on your clear.
How do you think we got the (only) pre nerf bahsei clear before addons existed. Get a score within 500 pc's asylum score. It's definitely the addons that tell you cast dots then use spammables until the next protector spawns.

I mean look at this.
Not to mention stuff like being able to swap gear with the press of a button to effortlessly have different gear bosses and trash packs.

Sorry, these console players always rub me the wrong way as they have the ability to acquire the same piece of hardware, but just dont because they like having a crutch to fall back on when they die for the fourth time to the same mechanic then whip their controller into the wall
Would you like to buy me a gaming pc? You truly aren’t helping your case by insulting me for playing on a console where add ons aren’t there lol

I like to think it's because they want everyone to laugh at the absurdity of KILL SUN! every time it pops up. I know I do.

you are assuming that it is just console players who are anti-addons because they cant have them, but that is wrong, as there is also some PC players too of that opinion, who believe in a level playing field for all in some game modes, and the ONLY way to achieve that is to prevent the use of mods.
Veteran stuff should be played in as pure a form as posable as intended with everyone having the same advantage and disadvantage and there being NO hand-holding in the form of mods.
