Sorry, these threads always rub me the wrong way as PC players have the ability to do this on PTS for practice, use add ons etc. I would love to see a full trial with pc players not using add ons at all.

I always get annoyed at the "world's first" title and become instantly unimpressed whenever I see it. Because it implies there's an even playing field to getting it, and there's not.

Add-ons are a massive crutch. Lol. You cannot seriously think that they aren't insanely helpful.

I mean look at this.

Not to mention stuff like being able to swap gear with the press of a button to effortlessly have different gear bosses and trash packs.

Also, they may or may not have used these cheating addon that tell them when to do a mechanic

That why in the long run i think console player are better player, because they manage to eventually do these content without any addon to support them in anyway

We used the same gear the entire trial, bahsei medusa kilt slimecraw, with an inferno staff frontbar

Why would that need to be the case? I don't need to win the Tour de France to know that using steroids would enhance a biker's performance.

It is still an impressive feat. This is a very hard dungeon. But PC first would be a better title. [snip]

How do you think we got the (only) pre nerf bahsei clear before addons existed. Get a score within 500 pc's asylum score. It's definitely the addons that tell you cast dots then use spammables until the next protector spawns.

I know right. Too bad console players don’t have something to pop up on screen and tell them that mechanic is going to happen in 5..4...3..2...1. Superior or inferior doesn’t matter. Play the game without your hand being held.

Did you read the top part of the comment you're quoting, we didnt have addons in the pre-nerfed bahsei. I promise you would not want to see that monstrosity before he was nerfed into the ground

The should reconfigure veteran dungeons, so they can ONLY be played in a forced pure mode, meaning no mods permitted or loaded by the client.

If you want to use mods, then normal dungeons should be forced, as really mods and third person view are feckless mode and there is nothing veteran about doing it that way.

So

you get better rewards* if you play without mods, with the highest chance of the best gear being rewarded for no mods and first person view locked.

* better as in a chance to get legendary gear rather than just epic gear.

the above would elevate skill and level the playing field, as you would know then everyone is playing by the same rules with the same handicaps in an instance.

Congrats on the achievements, you all make it look so effortless.
Video's like these make me want to go out and do vet dungeons more. Though I must be realistic about my available time and skill-level, if I ever get past the vtMoL twins, I'm happy.

Console guys, you have to understand that you are playing a handicapped version of the game (eso is native on pc). Addons help but they don't play the game for you, it's the game that is way better on pc and the players are more competitive.

There's a lot of salty console players in the thread complaining about addons when they know FULL WELL, that if they could get those addons for their respective console, they'd be fully loaded in a heartbeat.

Former console player, current pc player - I PROMISE you that the game is not any easier on pc, just more convenient. The addons are helpful, but after you get used to and understand the trial, you don't need them.

The OP isn't saying PC is best, or tell us they're the best, or comparing PC and console, or bragging unnecessarily - they're just engaging in what has become tradition and sharing what looks like the first run through an incredibly difficult new Trail (not dungeon).

My comment, if it needs explaining, is simply pointing out that we could congratulate them rather than dunk on them because they're on PC and used a few addons. And yeah, I'm saying that most of these here whining on have probably never gone near the place, let alone completed it.
