Who Skips the pig quest?

    I've hated it in the past, but I think they must have made it easier to do without getting caught this year.

    Glenumbra was nerfed heavily this year, the drop chance increased quite substantially and the required amount of ingredients were halved.
    If you have the Glenumbra inn room then you can use that for fast teleport spot for the second delve.

    All-in-all, it prob takes about the same time as the Auridon quest now.

    I doubt that.

    even with increased droprates and reduced ingredients, Glenumbra daily has several unskippable timesinks. traveling between delves. traveling back to the tent and then waiting for him to make the fireworks. having to fire those fireworks in 3 locations (which makes it 5 locations you have to go to in total not counting going back to the tent to make fireworks) and then riding back to the tent. with Auridon, you have two clicks per 3 locations, and shorter ride from inn room back to the tent.
    dirty worthless casual.

    They finally fixed stealing the apples last year, so no bounty there. Go up the left stairs and then around the perimeter of Ebonheart, between the buildings and the wall. No bounty. Ever.

    Yeah, it's pretty fast and much easier then previous years.

    I do hate that they've made the city gateway that's next to the festival tent, automatically dismount you! Why??? grrr

    It'd be even faster if you could just ride back & forth through the gate the number of times you need to in that quest.

    I always went right and tried to stealth past the butcher and stuff but nothing ever worked.

    Crouch down at the far end of the apple container to avoid a bounty. Then I just grab the pig and run. I didn't even know you could get a bounty from the stealing the pig part.

    I only do them on one character and it takes a lot longer than that. I'm going to time it tomorrow.

    This creature called a songbird. What a devious creation! This winged nuisance erodes sanity with its incessant chirping. What a brilliant form of torture!

    I skip the DC one, just like everyone should skip DC altogether. That one is running through two delves, then all the way back to do a whole other task, why haven't they cut this one down yet?

    Easiest and fastest quest. Could get some stealth potions if you are really struggling with sneaking.

    It's like the fastest and most straightforward one of them. If I had to pick which one to do then it would it without hesitation. Never got a bounty in years from doing it.

    I lucked out and never tried it till after the bug was fixed, so I think either last year or year before was when I first did it. Totally fell in love with the comedic aspects of the poor owner.

    For that matter, it is due to "Princess Buttercup" that I started purchasing every pig or boar in game that I could get my hands on, since clearly the Princess needs a court. Still working on a house/yard that will best showcase this.
    Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
    Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
    Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
    Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

    Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
    House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
    Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

    Crouch next to apples and wait riffraff move until you are in full stealth. I've got bounty only if my char is far enough to take a step when stealing apples. Run the pig thru Fighters Guild area.

    The Pig Quest is the only one of the original Jester's Festival Quests that I still do. With max Mount Speed and Major Expedition, it barely takes a minute.

    The other two, in Auridon and Glenumbra take SO LONG between traveling via Wayshrines or going in and out of Delves, that I just don't do them anymore.

    The first day I went into Ilessan Tower this year for the quest, the enemies nearest the entrance had already been killed and there was a bag of the ingredient right there. I grabbed it, and it contained 4 of the ingredient! That was the fastest I've ever been able to complete that leg of the quest.

    Every day since, I've had to kill several enemies and/or loot several bags. I've yet to see another bag with 4 of the ingredient; I think the most I've seen since Thursday was 3, and more often 2 or just 1.
    I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!

    That's the only quest I do tbh. You can run a certain path along the right side by the houses and generally not be seen.

    It's the fastest one and not to mention really not that hard to avoid getting a bounty. Stay in stealth when stealing apple go to pig ride off take the left path(right path from the direction you came in but on your left when going back) go back to starting quest point. All done.

    Yeah, me too. I remember hating with a passion...apple stealing broke stealth, there was always a guard on LHS bridge and on the town exit, and you lost the pig if you used rapids, but it was one of the last I needed for the Royal Jester achievement. So, I bit the apple this year and it was very easy. Finally got the achievement done.

    They fixed it so that it's a lot less likely you'll get caught now.

    I've done it a dozen times or more already and only got one bounty.

    just do Hammerdeath Arena for the tickets, then continue my daily delves&worldboss quests, as they give better rewards.

    Hammerdeath Arena is so easy, you kill boar in couple seconds and have TWO quests done, which means I have to do quest only every second day - it's so much faster and less annoying than last year.
