Thank you for letting us buy the new Radiant Apex Mounts with gems

Your mount was obtained with your wallet and a bit of RNG, it isn't exactly impressive. Obtain the Sunspire mount as that is more impressive as it shows your skill.

People are selling Godslayer carries for a long time now. I could have bought such carry as well, but I don't buy carries - I buy crates:

I really don't like the creeping feeling that old Radiants might be buyable next time their seasons return

In new season, Radiants already feel like gem-exclusive mounts (with some RNG chance) - they are not true Radiants. But as it's fresh new season and everyone can simply buy those mounts, it's fair

I would not be mad if all upcoming new seasons' mounts will have gem price as well. Even if they won't feel like Radiants anymore.

If your claim to exclusivity was through achievement, rather than chance then I'd at least listen to you.

I too could buy my way to any of the Radiant mounts, but I won't, because that's now how saving for house deposits work and would otherwise be stupid.

I have Radiant Apex Mounts and i am happy with this change myself. Everyone who invests in crown crates to support the game should have access to everything in those crates. It shouldn't be based on who can spend the most money or has the best luck.

I think it will help quell the anti-crate crowd as well, as this was one of their main sticking points that and you couldn't obtain crates with gold and now you can. Both changes are good for the community and the game.

Couldn't I just pay for a run through Sunspire and get the mount?

You need god slayer. Good luck finding a group that can take a carry through that.

I think a few groups sell it for like 40m per run or so. No skill involved if I can just buy the reward.

Yeah they don't even let you play. They log in as you and do it for you to make sure it happens.

It will start with the new box coming on Thursday, but I expect it will be the case with every crate season from now on.

Might have something to do with the finalized acquisition and Microsoft‘s policies regarding this topic, but it’s just a guess.

2500 for the Culanda, 1200 for the Varla, and 1600 for thte Wlkynd..

More likely to get them in RNG, but I guess its an option for those that have horrible RNG.

As you said either for those who are willing to put so much irl money or gold into crates and have terrible luck,for those people it's a great option.
Or for those who have so many gems they don't know what to do with them.

For people like me...That bit of a specially effects and blinky blinky won't make me spend more on crates then I had intended to do.

Being honest,no mount is worth 2500 gems in my opinion.

Agree completely. There is a big difference between opening ones wallet and achieving something in-game. I would much rather have the story behind it than how much I spent. I think a proper solution would to be adding more mounts/pets (aka achievable content) in-game and also crate-exclusive. Balance in that area at this point certainly tips only one way.

I've had 1000 gems before, it was expensive to get there (I used gold, not $$$) and I can't think of anything that would make me spend even more, that's around 15-20M range to buy, plus a crown seller who is very loaded.
