Lets say this bullies and Harassers exist in the Game. It seems that they also exist and tend to troll the forums. I do find the mudball the most offensive thing that happens outside of the ocean of salt that flows in the pvp zones. If the mudballs went away id be happy.. But its part of the game and you are forced to accept the attention as there is no opt out. I wish there was and opt out of that kind of kind of attitude but it does not exist in the game yet.
I haven't counted the total number of wayshrines in ESO but i'm sure yourself and OP could use any one of them to escape such terrible MMO living conditions.

While we assume you're kidding, we want to make it clear that though we understand your feelings regarding the cost of the elk mount, taking it out on other players is not acceptable. This can be considered griefing which can lead to disciplinary action against your game account.
Post the comment by ZoS and I will believe it.
If they had a problem with it they would only allow the use of it during the event they are for.

Disagreeing with them is trolling? I'm not sure who is trolling I just noticed posts of people who didn't agree with the OP.
This was when being mudballed would interrupt you if you were using a merchant/fishing etc, it no longer does this.
When was that? Because I’m referring to a series of posts from 6 months ago:

These things have been nothing but a tool of trolls for the moment it was created. Why the studio never created an opt out option for what was blatantly going to become a source of anger and tension in the community I have have no idea!

Please allow us to disable the visual effect of mudballs (in settings) so it can ruin this type of behaviour. or make it so you automaticly ask for a duel whenever u throw mudballs at people. Increase the cooldown to 1 mudball every 60 seconds, or do something else.
its not really important what you do, but please change it. Its not fun getting harrassed by mudballs, knowing you cant do anything to stop it.

You can purge the effect with any of the skills that grant immunity, like Race against Time (Psijic ), Forward Momentum (2H) etc

Seems like you are so caught up in mudballing people that you don't see the perspect that "please stop mudballing me" is not particularly petty to ask, but continuing to mudball someone who has asked you to stop is incredibly petty to do
At the end of the day OP is the problem. Wants other people to play and behave EXACTLY as they do, and will seek further action if not the case.
The OP certainly is NOT the problem. The problem is the mistaken belief that harassment in a digital world is ok. Harassment, no matter what form it takes, is harassment and has a detrimental effect on people and harassment is NEVER ok.
As I said before I have no problems with mudballs and throw them myself, I have issues with any form of harassment, when asked to stop the thrower should have respected that and stopped, not targeted the OP all the more. That is harassment which is against the TOS and also, well, just out of order

Personally, if someone asks me to stop I respect the person. Again, not all people are the same. It depends on the integrity of each of us. Just dont rage at Mudballing, as I get Mudballed a lot and its fun to make games out of it. Theres already enough bad stuff in the world to rage about mudballs
*Mudballs you with love*

Thus the Harassers and bullies and teasers believe they are the ones that are in the right. Got to love the normal tactic of turning the victim into the one thats wrong and evil. As i said before I Hate harassment and bulling anywhere. The dev's put 'mudballs in the game and its not going to go away nor do they give those who find it offensive an opt out. As much as i dislike saying this no matter if its triggering to you the attacked..you have to live with the random bully in game. cause its not gonna change. put the offender in your ignore list wont help but it feels good

The real lesson here apprears to be just to develop some really basic manners, people.
Stop trying to say that the key to stopping harassment is to run and hide from harassers, and recognize that harassers warrant punishment for their intentional efforts to cause problems for other players
