Congrats on your baseless assumption
24 million PvE Toons screaming in unison "I Can't enjoy the Lore and my RP, my immersion is ruined, ZOS expects me to feed toxic PVPers for a year?" Etc etc you know it's not Baseless because you heard similar arguments from Midyear madness or from Cyrodiil "RP sessions" when they don't get to play castles anymore.

Even if it is .03% of the player base, the only thing that matters is how much $ they bring in. We know the most hardcore pvpers are some of the more wealthy players in the game buying and selling gold jewelry for eso bucks.
I would love to see how much $ in crowns are made from PVPers (this would also includes crown items gifted to them via eso buck trades).
This game isn't only played by PvE players, and as such shouldn't be catered to only PvE players.
Every time I see a post saying "You can't force PVE players"
Well you can't force PVP players either, and we've been putting up with PVE players being the golden children for 6 years now.
ZOS: give. your pvp players. some content.
Not a new siege weapon, and a hammer that probably broke more than it helped.
Content.
Starting with fixing the lag.

no more pvp please and thank you.
the taint of pvp severely affects pve.
pvp shouldnt even be in this game at all.
pvp in this game would be ok if only letting it be a tacked-on afterthought and NEVER the reason for any balancing and nerfs.
elder scrolls is supposed to be a pve paradise!!!
pvp is why we pve cant have nice things.

PvE should NEVER be the focus for balance as it is nowhere near as competitive and it’s static, whereas PvP is dynamic. Once you learn a boss‘ mechanics, that’s all there is to it. You do the same crap over and over. As long as you can complete the content, it doesn’t matter if the guy next to you did 3% more dps. All that matters is whether you can clear it within a timely fashion. PvP is very different and it’s where the true competition lies.
Multiplayer games without PvP have no true endgame and so, imo, have no real reason to be played. Why care about getting stronger/gearing up when your only enemy is static? If you can beat the highest content with what you currently have, then what reason do you have to get stronger? Or what happens when you already have the best gear? What do you use it for? Raids in MMOs reward players with gear, but what good is that gear if it’s not used in a competitive sense? Do you just gear up to find the next raid to... gear up to and so on (in ESOs case, increase in CP)? It’s just a never ending cycle?
PvErs are the ones who need constant DLCs and new dungeons to keep from getting bored. Once they beat a trial/dungeon once, or they’ve retrieved the gear they wanted from them, they have little reason to go back. PvPers can play the same content for years and still be satisfied because it’s actually replayable.
Not meaning to continually bash on PvErs, but PvP has been neglected for far too long and the constant pampering to PvErs is largely part of why.
Don't forget this is a PVE game with some pvp in it, not the other way around.

Pay-to-win has always been the key money maker in any PvP MMO. This is not a bait comment. It's just reality.
Look at the thousands people throw into EVE for basically ships that are consumables.
Look at the microtransactions in thousands-of-servers PvP games like League of Angels and their clones -- people will pay money to rush to the top spot. And do it all again (or try again) in a brand new server.

But, I strongly believe that PvP really could use some updates to functionality and content. They are players in this game too. Just as much as I am, role players, and trial groups. Why shouldn't they get content also? I don't know either.
