Vampire hunters in the wild.

I remember during the Greymoor preview that Rich mentioned there were bounty hunters like in Skyrim that will approach your vamp character at random times. Was this another Zos lie, and these bounty hunters are just the random encounters you come across that are just standing over either a dead ww or a dead vamp, they don't really move or attack unless you get close?

I was honestly expecting more than a simple copy paste of the old encounter, I haven't seen anything like the ones that actually do approach you in Skyrim.

Yeah, just another group of pointless mobs to die in 2 seconds before they even can turn on you. "Hunters lol"

Can confirm they hunt werewolves too, before, you know, instantly exploding.

These guys seem to be a myth for me. Maybe because they're so easily killed that I never see the encounter, in which case thanks to the others for taking out the trash for me! My material grinds can run uninterrupted! :D

    I've seen:
    1) human hunters standing over dead body of vampire or werewolf
    2) werewolves standing over bodies of human hunters
    3) vampires preparing to feed on their human victims

They do not feel like personal bounty hunters - they are just interesting new addition to random old encounters, like bandits opening treasure chests, random mages summonning daedra, etc (all these events share same fixed locations).

Human hunters say different "personal" phrases, depending on if your character is werewolf or vampire. If you see human hunters surrounding werewolf body, and you are werewolf too (even not transformed), they will say werewolf-related things like "Came to avenge your friend? Pathetic!" or "Another beast! Kill it!"

Very rarely, in the wilderness of Gold Coast, hostile nightblade NPC spawns right near your character and starts attacking. It's the only thing similar to bounty hunter in ESO :) And it scared me everytime, cause it's PvE and I'm not waiting to be suddenly ambushed :D My first reaction is always "Where am I? Is this enemy player?"
