If there are extended issues affecting a lot of people, they will probably give compensation in the form of free days for the affected people. But there really hasn't been *that* much unexpected downtime. Maybe a few hours at most.
Even if it was down for 4 hours...that's less than 8 cents.
For compensation to be given I would expect for servers to be down for unscheduled maintenance for over a day.
Maintenance is pretty amazing in this game. When WOW had patches, the servers would usually be offline for 12-16 hours, sometimes even 24. Zenimax is good about getting patches done in 3-4 hours.

Either you are exaggerating or you really need to reconsider playing computer games like this is they are actually making you sick.
Downtime is part of ANY mmo, especially at the start of a games lifecycle.

true,, but I still don't understand why some ppl are trying to say that we have no right to talk or demand anything or even complain! why not ? if your suffering from a problem that was caused by zenimax why not mention it ?Clearly, OP is just seeking some way to overcompensate other shortcomings he may or may not have (my lawyer forced me to add the 'may not' part).
That said, well, with this being the third maintenance they've had to put up in something that could be attributed as prime-time in EU without any particularly good communicating, it would be nice if they'd do something. Not because we're entitled to squat really, since unscheduled maintenance is what it is, but because it would serve to create some goodwill (which, tbh, probably would be good for them).
It has nothing to do with getting duped, perhabs you go out of your cave and see how things go with coding in the real world.
It's also funny that in the past 10 years i have never been compensated for problems with my internet, tv and/or phone. NEVER.
lets those guys ( shells ) reject the compensation when we get it
Saturday night is my only free time to have uninterrupted game play and I'm not happy about server is being offline. One friend above is saying "no time is yet paid for", which is incorrect for my understanding, since I've paid £69 to this game and it says 30 month included. Yes, it might be really £0.43 total for this outage however, I can't play this game 24/7 and Saturday night maintenance is not what I was expecting. It is also not just the money, I don't really care about £9 a month. It's the frustration of not getting the service I subscribed. I could do the same for any service; like TV, internet, electrics, magazine subscriptions, vpn accounts etc etc. Feels like getting a magazine with missing pages
I hope everything will be much better eventually, it's a nice game!
1- for having us buy an EU version of the game and play on US based servers up until now.
2- for having so many bugs in the game.
4- making us play in a dead economy game.
To be fair, you could view it that way, time pro-rata etc. Personally I am not fussed, but I can understand why people are, its a bit of a mess support wise...Saturday night is my only free time to have uninterrupted game play and I'm not happy about server is being offline. yes, this is what I'm trying to say. We have reasons to be unhappy, support could be better and quicker, problem is not the money. I think it's "disappointment"; just like finding ham&lentil soup in ice-cream tubTo be fair, you could view it that way, time pro-rata etc. Personally I am not fussed, but I can understand why people are, its a bit of a mess support wise...Saturday night is my only free time to have uninterrupted game play and I'm not happy about server is being offline. I do think ZOS will have to do something for all the early subscribers who have been put through the mill, but it'll probably be in-game items rewards etc. Because as yet no paid time has been lost, but some face saving is definitely in order for ZOS.
So, as customers, yes.. some situations like this.. should have some compensation.. or an apology..

You mean this? here is your apology.

It is questionable then and the latest events?
No bugs or maintenance, but the time that we lost by their mistakes?
( many people were suspended almost a day without reason, without an apology, without a single word )
I'm Not referring to those who abuse the game, but all of us who were affected by Zenimax mistakes trying to fix the gold sellers, hackers and other issues.
They can make mistakes, we are all human, we can understand.. but when the 30 days of subscription finish, they will not make the mistake and let you continue playing.

I am saying no one has yet paid a sub. However, you might view it the first month was included in the game price, and then you have paid as part of the game outlay.
Personally I couldn't care as the money involved is so tiny.
I also have not experienced any great problems, but for the people who have ZOS might do well to acknowledge the *** ups, if only to save face.

Don't take it like offence or some kind of insult. Just some facts.
When wow started there were "free month " too and they compensate some days too (yes from free month).
And last. Zenimax have some serious problems. Including logging into other accounts with your login and pswrd. And half time there is problems with Guild Bank etc. They have some fu*ked up code or they can't handle some simple databases...
In fact. This is for me as customer rather monkey business...
