Do the Packrat and Packboar stack?

Hello. 
I consider buying the Packrat to gain another 5 slots. While the Packboar (which I possess) says that it adds 5 slots, the packrat does not say this.
Thus I am hesitant to acquire it, for I only desire it for the 5 slots and nothing else.

It wouldn't make sense from a sales perspective to work that way. People will buy this for the inventory space as well as the pig and the next 10 they make that do this.
Make no mistake, this isn't a pet. It's overpriced inventory space that happens to have a pixel pleasing pet attached to it that many people will never actually use. It makes the price of 5 inventory spaces feel much more palatable and has worked amazingly well from that perspective.7 -

If we pretended they added this as another upgrade from the bag merchant, (iirc the current final bag upgrade costs around 70k per player) we can assume this next tier would be in the 100k/player which would equate to 1.8M for an entire account.
Yes, I realize someone, somewhere, has spent real money, but it’s a much better deal for someone able to buy crowns for gold in game.Feric51

Or there's people like me who keep the sub running for the bag and the DLC stuff and just used their sub crowns. Not like there's much else to buy. I nearly hit 10k crowns recently and ended up buying the Wayrest house just for the convenient teleport. Lol1 -

I've got about 8k crowns burning a hole in my account simply from my ESO+ sub. Not much else to spend it on, I already hve the war boar, so adding the rat seems a suitable use for crowns I just have laying around.0 -

Agree So many times my adventures were not interrupted by having extra 10 inventory slots for loot!
There is at least one more guaranteed pack pet, Pack Donkey - and it was datamined very long time ago (sometime near Elsweyr release?). Pack Guar pet would be very cool, but I can't remember if it was actually datamined or not

✭✭I would not mind if the +5 slots came with the chapter but those pets are too nickel and dime for me to accept in principle. Just a step over the line.
And yes those do stack. That's how they want to monetize inventory blues even moar. At some point there will be enough +5 pets to acquire new players and those who try to ignore em will be in serious disadvantage.Edited by rpa on February 24, 2021 10:56AM0 -

"Fun," fact: if your inventory size is reduced, and you have items that would exceed your inventory capacity, those items are immediately deleted. (Not sure on the priority for what is nuked.)
And, yes, I'm aware the bank doesn't work that way. Your character inventory will immediately eat items, your bank can handle overflow (if your ESO+ runs out.)
The only method you could experience this, originally, was back in the days when we could have different stats for our mounts. The introduction of Tamriel Unlimited's unified mount system did away with this.0
