None... I simply don't collect new gear since Harrowstorm. Continuous nerfs to abilities and gear every update were already discouraging. And this new low with arena weapons is only reinforcing my decision to stay away from any gear farming

✭✭I have zero problem with people getting vMA weapons in normal mode.
What annoys me so much, is them actually nerfing my hard-earned VMA weapons and forcing me to re-grind same content.1 -

Seriously though, OP, did you play anoy other MMO in the past ? Pretty much all of them have the same workings. They all water down some content at some point in their history.0 -

✭I suppose starting to nag my *** into DLC vet trials. Haven't done these yet. Or I suppose I just have to ask, I have been asked a few times, but felt I wasn't "BiS" enough to be appreciated and so on. It's often a bit elitist, and for reasons I guess. I rarely run meta builds, or to be precise - I don't.
Found a way to easy get Flawless Conqueror now, which I've had a problem with because of the Umbrage flower deaths: I simply run through them while on Major Expedition, as soon as I've cleared out waves of trash, and I die no more! LOL Well, an occasional freak death of course, but nothing I can't handle.
In general, I've been a dedicated PVP player. But because of the state of the game, I've been off that for a couple of months. And more or less all I have left are the vet DLC trials...0 -

I have not only played other MMOs, I moderated one. They may nerf existing content but they don't take your old gear and put it into a lesser game mode. They don't then put new gear in what you just beat and expect the people who already did it to farm again as if their time meant nothing.

Didn't WoW dumb down a bunch of the Raids when they added the raid group finder? That was after I quit playing the game but I seem to recall drama about that.
And while it's rarely been quite as obvious as this, there are tons of MMOs and F2P games who have made content and rewards easier to acquire than before, whether we're talking reducing costs or giving a new avenue to aquire it. IMO the only thing that really makes this situation unique is that there is now something better that replaced what you could get before. You think people would be less rage if there was no perfected version and vMA was simply a case of bragging rights now, instead of a better reward?0 -

✭You know, at the rate you guys are complaining, ZOS should just have deleted everyone's Maelstrom/Master weapons, so you'd have an actual reason to complain.
They kind of already did. Back when players stored their valuable items in the new Storage Chests only to have them all disappear
