What achievement do you think will be watered down and wasted next? Do you feel comfortable even trying to grind stuff out anymore, or will you just wait for ZOS to hand it out later?

Now all those who didn't complete VMA will grab their +3-4k from MA weapons and go to trial progression groups to be carried. They'll be standing near boss doing their borderline minimum dps with vma staff/bow+relequen/siroria+zaan, while experienced players will do all mechanics... and after that they won't have chance to learn how to play ever. Because VMA/VDSA farm was important stage of learning mechanics of this game and skipping that stage will forever turn player into dummy parser.
So ZOS is actually making disservice to them and you are not losing anything from this change, nothing to be demotivated about.

Having to regrind VMA to have the VMA weapons is losing an accomplishment. Now, power wise, it's the same as if I had never done it.
It took me months to beat VMA the first time. Months. And now it's just being handed out to every one and I'M the one expected to work my bum off all over again.

People who do it are exceptional players who have dedication. If you don't want to grind, then don't. Particularly in this instance, the grind isn't even necessary. The perfected benefits are small enough to not matter in the grand scheme of things.

My guess is they will put monster helms in normal dungeons.
Me, personally, this has killed off a lot of my motivation to run new or vet content.

I have never been made to regrind content I already farmed to min-max before.
Now vet DLC is far easier than vMA. You don't need HM for helmet after all and can be carried.Skykaiser_Ọlọrun wrote: »Monster helms in normal dungeons?
But that would invalidate the back-breaking labor from all those people who got their helms from the Golden Vendor.
