Sashimono - alternative method for displaying one's guild

Would it be presumptuous to ask for an alternative to a tabard for displaying one's guild affiliation? This one yearns to show his guild membership, but is much too vain to cover his stylistic outfits. Considering much of the armor in the game draws inspiration from non-european sources, would it not be acceptable to have a sashimono introduced for player use to serve the same purpose? After all, the are already in the game, in exaggerated form, in certain trials, such as MoL and HRC. Perhaps just have something that stuck up a head's height above the character's head, attached to back.
This one is aware that sashimono as player items have been discussed in the past, but he is not aware if they have been discussed as alternatives to tabards. Please forgive an old khajiit if this has been done before.

Gundug✭✭✭✭✭All of the dungeons in this game have very high ceilings, so I don’t think anyone need worry about scraping their sashimono against them. The tabard issue is a significant concern, especially since the developers have ceased to properly integrate armor styles with them for years now.1

✭✭✭The sashimono don't have to be that big (not like they are in HRC and MoL for example). just -something- present that can be used to justify showing the guild tag under the player's name

I would prefer the tabard. Though it is odd OP suggested this over a tabard because he wants their character's outfit to be in full view and yet this is clearly a distinction and still covers part of the outfit up.
