Please, please...do NOT remove the health bonus from the one piece set of Valkyn Skoria!
It’s one of the only sets MagDKs utilize to be competitive in PVP & PVE...
You’ve stripped this class of everything else, just like NightBlades, give us at least this frigging curtesy!

    Wont the Pen will be better for damage especially in PvE, you can use a Health Glyph if you need it.

    Pen is no good if you're dead. Less health also means a smaller shield

    @LeHarrt91 completely understandable; however, I should not have to make a choice between a potential spell damage glyph and a health glyph...
    Or have to potentially move attributes that are allocated elsewhere to make up for something that has been the standard since the set was released!
    This also falls back to not upgrading the Maelstrom Weapons argument that MANY players have vocalized!

    I definitely see where you are coming from, and the health was useful in many situation and NoCP. But unfortunately they seem to have changed all the Health/ Defensive monster sets and we will have to shift things around. One thing to note is with the base Crit Resitance, you can now utilize other traits like Infused to get some health back.

    Not to be rude or anything ... but isn't what you describe Exactly what games are all about? The Need to make Choices ?

    How to design your character the best way you can, given the limited options available ? And if rules change, adapt and make new choices?

    I guess my question would be, why would someone Not be required to make such choices?

    It's not difficult to get enough pen using non pen sets.

    Edit: I should add, when using the lover mundas. Skoria had that advantage to it in certain situations when you needed more health, but wanted a reliable damage set.

    The Spell Pen is not bad, not at at all. But the health was nice.

    This is a good change in my opinion. You can't add a glyph for extra penetration, but you can add more health via attributes and glyphs.

    The set gives a nice amount of burst for stamina PvP DoT builds. Its not a game-ender to see the change, but it is a bit sad to see the max health go for a unusable substat.

    That said, it is a magic-based damage set, so outside of making the 1p mag+stam pen, I don't think stambois really have a horse in this race.

    I am sad about the change as well. I used it in all kinds of situations for the extra health for a specific fight or group that was struggling. Just like Ebon, the health can make a difference. I am not going to swap out a glyph for one fight. It was a nice option to have.
    My #1 wish for ESO Today: Decouple achievements from character progress and tracking.

    My understanding was that options were already fairly limited for MagDKs, not that there should be no choices.

    As if MagDKs would be in need of Skoria...most use Grothdaar anyway. Because it profits so much from Elfbane with 100% uptime.

    For PvP its not that big of a deal, but for PvE spell penetration is worthless since it's easy to reach the cap anyway.

    I agree about pen being *** in pve. Mag dds don't need it. It literally hits magcro's the most because they are already at pen cap in optimized groups. Without a single CP in it.

    Plz stop putting pen bonuses on mag pieces.
