Antiquities: Do the items you collect in a lead expire?

So I'm looking at the system and one of the things that stands out is some of the items such as mythics come in multiple pieces.
But the items are not stored as mementos there stored as a part of what looks like a lead...
This may be extremely problematic and would take a month to test, but do they expire?
Imagine searching months for a lead on an item to have it expire before you get all the pieces. As scattered and random as these leads are it may take casually over a year to collect them and find where they are. I don't think the system is intended to force you to collect every lead for an item in a month, not saying it isn't possible using a well built guide.
It is nerve racking, however.

The 30-day timer only applies to the lead itself, @Pinja ... not the artifact piece.

If you find a lead and then successfully scry/excavate a piece of Thrassian Stranglers, it permanently goes to your Antiquities collection.

As for the timer, I don’t see one either ... but players really don’t have any excuse for waiting 30 days to excavate. Especially if the player thinks the artifact is important enough to have.

In case any1 needs a visual of the system,

You first 'randomly' stumble upon or search out for a lead (based on RNG sometimes),

The lead pops up under your leads index in your journal,

Having a lead that is part of a larger whole, unlocks an unscryable blueprint lead.

Once found the item ungrays and colors into the same mythic lead.

Out outside color I don't see anything that distinguishes these larger leads. And I've yet to find the timer on regular leads if anyone could point to where that is if it exists.

If there built as just another part of the default system they may risk expiring.
