As it stands, it's not nearly appealing enough of a space occupier to tempt me.

Sure it's nice and in a neutral sort of style, but for that kinda price I expect a bit more functionality.
Feels like ZOS is just trolling us at this point while the rest of the game is imploding. Good times.
The trees are nice, though I have no need for them right now. Could buy some and stuff them in the bank in case I get a cool idea for them. However, I don't think I will. I play so little these days that I might as well wait for next year if I find a need for them. If ZOS wants to limit my creativity via this stupid luxry vendor BS system, then I guess I'll just limit my playtime.8 -

✭✭✭✭✭Well.... my problem is - as normal - the inability to scale things. I'm not into windmills, so that's not the issue. But trees.... and other plants - I would expect the option to scale them to fit a given space.
Right now, the housing setup in this game is.... light years behind RIFT's system. I quit playing RIFT in 2016.... and at that point, it was so far beyond ESO's system it's ludicrous.8 -

Despite the price I could not resist, but I think the price is too high, especially 1 week after the expensive greenhouses.
100.000 for a greenhouse already was a challenge for many, but a quarter million? C'mon...
Most people will not be able to afford them and will be very disappointed.

A windmill is a very special item, and looking like this, it won't fit in many houses - be it from size or from style (to be honest, the wind mill vanes look a bit odd). I will pass on this one. But I knew that from when I saw the datamined mini-image, this mill is not for me. No dissappointment here. The trees are nice. I hope there will be a big red one next year.Most people will not be able to afford them and will be very disappointed.
Yet I think, ZOS should have made the windmill cheaper. More people would have been able to buy one "just in case" if it was a 100k - more gold sink that way. Costing as much as it does, only people with too much gold or an exact idea will mostly buy it.PC/EU5 -

This is a case where the rich get richer and the poor get nothing. The rich will buy several of these and then sell them for millions on the trader later on, because there will be plenty of people that either can't afford it now, or others that missed out on them.7
