And in what way it overpowered?:DThey should add a separate stat to BGs called self healing. Having healing only be what healing you do on other people gives people a ridiculous perspective on what’s going on.
Templar and mag in general are moreso struggling with a perception issue. I’m getting a little tired of all these whiner threads.
and what such stat will do , like deny healing of teamates?:D
whats next, debuffing someone to make working only for u also? it's a deadly way.
RIght way for them is to always check of group utilities to keep balance in game...
Cooldowns for synergies are a good way for example.
Total overheal of whole group is a bad thing.
Every class in game struggle with a perception issue before testing, watching numbers, comparing...After that it's not "perception".
No I just mean leave the healing done stat which reflects how much healing is outgoing, but also add a self healing stat. I think it’d clear up a lot of the misconceptions in the game.
Like with resolving vigor I can get the amount up to 4k per tick, but people rage about HTD heals even though the expected value is only maybe 7k.
People are getting all in a huff over nothing, mainly because magplar health drops and then goes up again rather then never dropping because of constant strong hots. Most stam don’t even seem to realize how much stronger their self healing is.
Like a DK complaining about magplar self healing is probably one of the most ridiculous things I’ve ever seen. The complaints would stop if it showed DKs at triple the self healing.
You're joking right? Templar casters feels so lackluster.
To be honest,I'm often jealous of skills npc's are using..the seas of flames they can create ,while skills like impulse pale compared to them(have to look in destro staff line since non of the tempar class skills is that good really for caster)..even farting in a torch would cause a greater lasting impact. And also Impulse barely feels like an attempt to create a fire..
I dont know what has happened.
It feels like they disected most of the skills for sake of pvp maybe?Which might result in unimpressive/impactless skills in pve over the whole line.
Play a magplar healer caster. While they are super at support, they sacrifice a lot for it(in pvp survivability-2 cleaves or so away from being killed once caught in a close encounter)
in general damage output compared to sorc casters etc is not impressive at all.
I guess those in the matches have to get smarter and know always to target the healer first...If not targeted they can change the whole outcome of a match. But thats the only strength a templar magicka caster has.
Such a shame this biased poll too..
Well playing BGs I’d say Magplars are a lot harder to play then other classes. I see a bit of Magplars and a lot don’t do well.
Let’s be honest, almost all stam spamming one button (dizzy) or holding block waiting for onslaught is easy mode.

Imagine if magicka got a skill that stuns, snares, AND does damage equivalent to an ulti.

I’d settle for a reliable self heal (rapid regen being a self only heal) so I don’t have to run from team mates who haven’t figured out being at full health is a good thing.
At least with HTD you can face away from team mates to heal yourself, but if you play a mag class without a self heal you’re automaticallly gimped in pvp.
I’d rather a 1v2 then a 2v2 with a new player around me. I think there are some players who’ve figured out they can leach healing too and heal themselves less with a mag around. It only takes one to sink your team in a tight game.

Yep I can't how many times I died because rapids decided to heal someone else forever away. The favouritism toward stamina atm is palpable. People lost their minds when dots did 17 k over 12 seconds, but this? Totally acceptable.

Wait until next patch where stam will be up 1K or so weapon damage across the board. I was testing vigor and the healing it gives is insane. Easy to build for 4k Vigor tooltips.
Not as much of an issue for magplars, but it’ll hit the other mag classes hard.

Its quite obvious that ZoS is pandering to the popular streamers.
Streamers complain about dots - dots nerfed
Streamers complain about faction lock - faction lock removed
Streamers want stam stronger- low and behold stam is stronger
Streamers say harmony pops are fine - left alone
Then you get their fanclub coming in here parroting what they say and boom, we have an atmosphere of clear favoritism.

nah I can play with it..saying its the easiest class though is like looking down on people who do household and saying they have an easy life. While one does not clean nappies nor have to do all the dirty work..
Not even knowing half about what is involved & the true situation.
Just like is the case here with the complaints.Saying something is easy is easy..
Templar does not lend itself that well for the mage type as sorcerer. So its not hard to struggle finding skills for that desired playstyle.
One can only hope future dlc will provide new options...but so far it seems only new vampire types will come.
for u - it's 95% about your own skill.so lackluster

just, try to play a little at mag nightblade for example, or stamsorc, or mag dk to compare...

Magblade is definitely weaker. I don’t know stam very well to compare how they are. MagDK is pretty good according to those who play it.
Stamsorc though if it has an advantage it would be sustain, speed and a touch higher weapon damage which are all good in pvp. They might make a comeback this coming patch just because of all the crazy weapon damage buffs. IDK the class well, but I’d try NMA (BRP DW back bar) plus Kena on a stamsorc for crazy vigor and rally tooltips. I think stamsorcs will be able to hit 7-8k weapon damage this patch.

well I guess I will take your bait, as you are obviously refering to dizzy swing.. It seems to me like you either purposefully like to spread misinformation, or just lie out of habbit. I already showed to you in another thread how frags reach ult numbers , but only by scaling 1.46 spell damage + 35% damage boost, from the proc. You could not believe that it got anywhere near ultimate.. Dizzy scales 1.28xweapon damage and has no additional % boost, and you think that brings you into ultimate range? It's very far from being anywhere near^^ I imagine (hope?) you can see that the numbers are very different. So please start at least making sure that what you say has some factual basis, instead of just constantly saying stuff that just isn't true.

stamsorc's weapon damage is much less now than stamplars... but second one has cleance and more resourses, and things to time out damage and own ultimate without cast time, and class spammable which is much much muich better that dizzy spam.
any comparison.
and magplar is stronger than stamplar.
