Did the sneaky peek of Greymoor make you decide to get bitten for your first vampire character?

So long as the overly-pale vampire skin remains, I will not touch vampirism. The eyes + veins look awesome, but the paleness is excessive, and not even so pronounced in any of the other TES games.

There should be options and not just a forced new look. Guess we will see this firsthand on the PTS. Fingers crossed X

Most basic fix is 'cosmetic' but hey Tamriel seems to have issues with invention/lose of very basic tech - horse and cart and cosmetics...

I was wondering if the vampire population went up since the big reveal. It is just a fun poll, so have fun.

I decided to make a new Vampire themed, totally off meta, build. Naturally used one of my Nightblades and respecked. The skills synergies well and feel right for a Vampire. Its working great! Really good fun so far, no problems with overland or normal dungeons, I have some tweaking & refinement to complete before I move her up to Vet dungeons.

Its also my first Magblade, and I am liking some of the morphs!

I cannot wait for a revampe of the vampire skill line... if we do not get this then frankly what is the point. Vamps need a fully developed, usable skill line. I think vamping should be similar to werewolf, as in, transformation from an ultimate to make full use of the skill line. It can still provide passive bonuses, I just want to see a fully developed skill tree.

Maybe you will share some of your adventures here on the forum.

Yesssss, many players are looking forward to a vampire ultimate transformation. >:)

Where’s the option for ‘Made no bloody difference - they’re already all vamps because the passives are too good’?

Going back to New Rivenspire doesn’t excite me at all.

I have two vampires who are vampires for the looks - it's part of their character and they won't exist otherwise.

I also have 6 more characters who were bitten by bloodfiends years ago - but I don't want the vampiric look on those characters, so they won't complete the Lamae quest ever... Or until we can have option to turn off vampiric appearance at will :D

I didn't vote because there is no "I already have some vampire characters and Grey Moore is not an influence in any way in why I decide to have a character go vamp."

No. My character's name is Buffy and she informs me that vampires suck. ;)

Sorry, with voting options that try to be clever instead of providing a simple Yes or No here, none of them apply.

Some cosmetic item should be popping up in the crown store at some point with Greymoor, possibly.

I already have one, Nightblade but its not fully leveled because he's not a main toon that I play all the time, but I'm leveling up my warden and decided to get a bite because of the reveal. The Warden is currently at 36 and my vampire skill is at Lv 6. Talking to one of my guildies, she has all her mages vamped out, swears by it.

I've had vampires before, but might make new ones depending on the skills we get. Will have to wait for more info.

No, I have many. I may even be curing them depending on how badly ZOS handles their vampire changes.

My main got himself cured last year after the curse had him in its grip for over four years, meaning he's not interested :).
My other two vamps just did it for the looks - one of them is considered to be a vamp while the other one is not, so they didn't do it for Greymoor, either. And a new vamp? Haven't planned one. At least not now. But my crazy old necro/vampire/bad neighbor-type character might actually wish to evolve, we'll see...

It definitely convinced me to do it now (haven’t managed yet, camping out at that shrine in north Rift), but I always planned to do it at some point. I’d like to see how it works now before the revamp.

Absolutely not. I have always detested the vampire/werewolf stuff in games, including the TES franchise. Now, were someone to make a game (preferably single player) out of April White's Immortal Descendants books (the only author I've ever read who makes vampires somewhat logical), I might be interested.

No, I don't do Dawnguard in Skyrim, nor do I do the Companions quest line.

This poll is missing the "I already had vampires and may get cured when I don't like the changes." option.

Many of us are vampires for the sustain boost. Flame damage is a calculated risk. When we need to actually play a vampire to keep the bonuses, or when the passives are changed into something that isn't universally useful but mainly benefits the new vampire abilities, many will decide that it's time to get rid of that ugly face.

I don't currently have a vampire, but once Update 26 hits the PTS in a few months I'll be paying close attention to the changes and potentially getting a bite to prepare -- if I like what I see. My aim is not combat however, but rather farming: it's possible there will be improvements to Vampire Sneak, and the addition of a Mythic movement speed necklace could render vampires BiS for farming. Early speculation for sure, but I'm intrigued to see what happens.

I had a vampire once. I didn't notice a sustain difference when I got it, and ~6 months later I didn't notice a difference it when I cured it. As a dark elf I was still able to cope with fire, so--again--didn't really notice. Maybe the top 1% of players doing vet trials sees a difference, but all I got out of it was profound ugly; hence the cure. Vet trials are no fun, and I can manage everything else, so no point in being ugly 24x7. Maybe I would change my mind and try harder to see a difference if stage 1 looked "normal", though I gather that "stage 1" is going to take on a whole different meaning.

Any further characters I want vamped out will wait till the chapter is released. Supposedly they're changing the tutorial for it if I heard them correctly. Wanna see what that's all about.
