Did the sneaky peek of Greymoor make you decide to get bitten for your first vampire character?

I was wondering if the vampire population went up since the big reveal. It is just a fun poll, so have fun.

I have 8 vampires so I tend to notice in zone chat when people ask for bites. There did look to be more requests than usual in Reaper's zone chat.

No but I did nom several newbies that were excited about it. Might get another vamp to provide more noms.

I have noticed it too !! It is nice to see people excited for Greymoor.

I think that's awesome, I'm not a fan of the current "vamp=10% recovery" concept. Imo vampirism/lycatropy should be meaningful choices.

Someone bit my first toon for free in the days when it still cost 1500 crowns and people were camping and destroying bloodfiends to get paid. I was so grateful, I've always made a point of paying it forward

I'm definitely going to get bitten later, I'm just not in a hurry to do it yet. I want to try out the new vampire skills.

I had a vampire about a year ago and didn't like it, so she got cured. I might like the newer vamps, though.

Oh I remember that and some people asking for absurd amounts of gold for a bite. Only problem for them was that there are more kind people in eso then not.

The PTS should let us enjoy all the neat things being added in for vampires.

I would recommend avoiding becoming a Vampire until AFTER Greymoor drops. The devs have said they are making changes to the quest that starts after the ritual.

Why not make one now to experience the current quest *no spoilers* and then make a new vamp for the new release ?

Well, you have three options now. Basically:
1. I didn't have a vampire and Greymoor made me make one.
2. I had a few vampires and Greymoor made me make another one.
3. I'm not interested in vampires.

So what about people like me for example? Something like:
4. I have one/few vampire(s) and Greymoor didn't make me want another one.

Number 2. also could be phrased differently since someone could have had one vampire and made another one because of Greymoor, right?

And just to be clear, I'm not bashing you. I just thought more poll options could be nice for people to be included and would give you more info on how people are interested in this new chapter.

Tbh. I never was into that kind of stuff. In fact back in the 2014, when people did not know things, all I knew were rumors about players and special npcs that can infect with vampirism or lycanthropy. I also knew that you can not be both.
What I did not knew is that it can be only done in a special shrine, and if you accidently get one of those diseses, you can cure yourself easliy. That I did not knew.
Instead I had a vision of an "as*hole" players biting you, whenever you want it or not...

So out of 2 curses I picked WW, just so no one could infect me with vampirsm lol.
Btw it happened when my 1st character was level 33 and I had to go to one of the higher level zones, and back then, the zones had its own level - scaling...

Just wanted to keep it light hearted and positive, so that was my approach.

Well...my second char was is a Dunmer magblade vamp...It has always been the only vamp in my crew. The bad guy too. My main is a nord dk tank...but I don't feel like being a vamp with him. Would be strange because of his background. He is a Werewolf anyway. And as I will be doing the chapter with him...I guess I will be killing vamps. Not sure is some of mynother 11 chars will end up being vamps.

Thanks for reminding me. I'll probably cure one of my Alts just to experience the new questline

For someone who likes to play total edgelord's in games I find vampires are kinda safe and boring. They haven't been cool since Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines days and I don't see it changing any time soon.

The last time I found them interesting was TES 3 as well as they had multiple clans and they had a lot more interaction with each other and the world. Here they feel like a tacked on side thing every game since TES 3 without being really fleshed out. To be honest most things feel too simplified since TES 3.
