Dizzying Swing Update

As of today, I StrandedMonkey of the eso player base and forum posters will never spend a dollar on eso again.

i am the consumer and i am extremely outraged by the dizzying swing nerf
my opinion is just as valid as yours

I suppose we all have our bridge too far, but it seems like with all the not-exactly-wonderful gameplay changes made over the last two years, this is an odd one to be the "I'm done" one.

I can understand the sentiment. I played GW2 for several years and the pet nerf to Druid was too much for me. I continued to play on other classes which were fun, but were not “me”, and it would have taken time and work to be as comfortable on another as I was on Druid, and then ANet continued to make significant changes, further destroying options and fun of playing Druid and Chrono and so why invest in my Scourge or Firebrand when they could well be next? So I’m taking an indefinite break... Came back a few times when guildies said they could use my healing, but Druid is too ingrained in me to not notice the terrible nerfs and dysfunction even after weeks away and it just made me angry. So now I’m here. I’m loving Nightblade so far but am still so much in the learning phase that I’m hoping I won’t notice this particular set of nerfs too much, but I do hope drastic changes are not ongoing.

A very needed balance change to a once broken skill. I'm sad for the people who had fun with such a flawed mechanic but they will need to adjust and play on the same ground as everyone else.

People having negative feedback about your changes isn't "Baiting"... where's the "Freedom of speech" ?? You all knew it would cause uproar but decided to nerf this game so hard you're going to lose a good 20% of your player base over the next few weeks

Then [edited my profanity] talk about it in the PTS area for any last minute infinitesimal miracle buffs or you can practice getting that heavy attack in during those 7 seconds for da stun.

Create a post there but with some semblance of something Zos and Brain may listen to.

This back and forth with Zos's sledge hammer is bizarre to say the least.

Though I think that team is AFK talking about their vision of how do we kill all the fun in this game....

The early wreking blow before it got gutted was OP af but insanely just too much fun. Those were fun times xD

I guess you'll have to see if you are any good without it. If you are a decent player it shouldn't stop you, but if you can't I guess it was a crutch.

And to be fair I'm going to parse my top end golded out toons, if I've been nerfed as hard as what is being said I will delete all my toons and just have 1 for the stories, once completed I'll delete and forget this game... it's going down a steep sloppy hill... I have spent absolutely tons of cash on this game and I dont appreciate ZoS ruining my fun inside the game... I absolutely LOVED this game before morrowind, then adapted the nerfs, then nerfs came again and I left for about 3 or 4 months and now I came back a month or so back and now it's getting worse...

I’m still using it, everybody has their spammable, dizzy swing is mine, funny thing is that you still have a ranged spammable that interrupts any caster but a skill that you had to be within melee range was the problem, they should had just made it the same as well, no longer knocks back but interrupts casting enemies and sets them off balance.

I can't hear this "one single skill" excuse, mixed with a little schadenfreude, anymore. Nerf shalks, nerf curse, nerf cloak etc. and see how well this "if your relying on one skill" bollocks works out. It's easy to bark if you have all the tools in the class to fall back one. However, good players will still run over less skilled ones and less skilled players will soon come back here and cry for more nerfs. This is what I've learned over the last couple years. So take this comment with a grain of salt.

Well it is a shame because I would not be able to throw anyone again into the lava with it I think is a fun aspect of those knockbacks they are forgeting, the other day there was someone that kept healling all my damage i put myself on a side of the bridge and dizzy swinged him to the lava he could not survive that, on the other side the off balance effect opens a lot of play you can heavy attack him to throw him to the ground and you recover more stamina 60% and also do more damage, I am thinking at convining it with molten armaments for an even better result, I have to try it but it looks very interesting.
I noticed on the pts that a bird charged passed by and the dizzy connected instead of failing so maybe there have been some improvements on that too.

I thought this would be about the fact that it DOES NOT set enemies off balance like it still says it's supposed to do. It does not change the status of an enemy one tiny bit. Obviously this is unintended (for anyone who can read what the skill says it's supposed to do in the game) and I hope that they fix it soon. Because right at this moment the skill is completely BROKEN.

That may be I tryed it in BG but i did not had much succes and noticed no one with the aureola in the head, in the pts 2 weaks ago it worked well, it set enemies off balance, maybe is the last patch to pts that does not work correctly.
