    How many days has it been since this crap started? I've already posted once but I feel so bad for you guys. I've actually gotten the emails (I've been using gmail for a long time now so no need to 'attempt' to change it through Zenifail), but it doesn't change the fact that it is annoying. And unacceptable for everyone else. It's obvious that customer service is useless (and it appears the forum mods are useless as well, just saying) so report them. This is a business, a business that has basically stolen money from customers. http://www.bbb.org/

    I shouldn't have to change my Email. I have outlook. it shouldn't matter. why should I have to jump through hoops to change my email. I am paying for this game. I should be able to play when I want. I hope they fix this soon. I wish they would just tell us at least an ETA when it will be fixed. or acknowledge there is an issue. I have CS ticket open but they said they "upgrade me" and pawned me off to some other guy. no response. they will just say well we thought your issue was resolved. I mean what can I do. I bought the imperial Edition. im not gonna just walk away. doubt they will issue a refund. well hopefully they fix it soon.

    Yeap I have had this problem for about a week now. Sometimes just typing in your pass and then quickly hitting cancel and then typing it in again lets you in but TODAY that stopped working so now I am 100% out of the game.

    Not like I wanted to get past V5 or play a game I have spent money on anyways.

    ok had about 6 days of this rubbish wasn't receiving emails so i sent a email to acc and billings told them to change my email to gmail acc which they did then they told me to delete all my cookies in my browser and turn off my curser add-on if i had one which i didnt,went to play game access code came up ,code was sent to my new gmail acc and code worked. hope this works for some of you and continues to work for me ;)

    We want to do this to resolve before we change email accounts.
    just to let ppl know i only changed email acc and cleared browsers i didn't mess with the other stuff

    First go ahead and disable any add-ons that you may of placed. Ex. would be curse-client.
    Then go ahead and disable your anti-virus/Firewall or allow ESO as an exception.
    Disable your UAC
    Please make sure to first clear your cache, cookies, and browser history on your browser.
    Go and see if you can check the email for the security code.

    If not, go ahead and switch browsers and see if the email is there.

    Please make sure you check for spam box.

    See if you are able to retain your security code in your email. If not perform the following.

    1. Go ahead and powercycle your router/modem (unplug it for 2 min and plug it back in)
    2. Open your command prompt window with the following in programs/accessories and look for that.
    Right click and run as administrator
    3. Once it comes up please go ahead and run the following commands
    ipconfig/flushdns
    ipconfig/registerdns
    ipconfig/release
    ipconfig/renew
    netsh i i r r ( Do not restart it yet)
    netsh winsock reset
    4. It will ask you to reboot the PC

    5. Go ahead and reboot but make sure you enter the safe mode with networking mode
    Reboot your computer.
    During the reboot process, continually press the F8 key until you come to the Advanced Boot Options menu.
    This menu will have items such as Repair Your Computer, Safe Mode, Safe Mode with Networking, Safe Mode with Command Prompt, and others.
    Using your keyboard arrows, highlight Safe Mode with Networking and press Enter.
    Once Windows loads, you may be prompted to select a username.
    Select Administrator if applicable. If Administrator is not an option, select the normal username you are used to logging in with.
    Once in Windows, you may be prompted with a dialog box indicating you are now in Safe Mode with Networking. Select Yes to continue. Answer Link:Run computer in Safe Mode

    well best of luck to you all got my Imperial refund in the works after the page long FU e-mail, some of the community is still around but about 70 of us decided that anything this flawed needs a few more months in a incubator or needs to be strangled with its own birth cord. best of luck to those who actually can log into the game and enjoy it maybe in a year or two like FFXIV we'll all have a proper game...

    my suggestion is that if your problems are not solved in a timely manner, to demand refunds nothing says unhappy customer like taking away money.

    anyway I've lingered here to long good luck ESO community ^.^

    Why can I get an email within a few minutes if I need an access code on the account page but can't get one on the game page?

    Why did these access codes only start giving problems this last week.?

    Even MMORPG could send me a reset password email in a couple of minutes at the same email address.

    Tyler a in tech support switched my email account from an @ymail.com addr to a @gmail.com address and the problem is solved. I received the access code email no problem and logged in fine.

    Something simple that would help is if we had the option to change our email address ourselves rather than waiting on tech support to do it for us

    Keep opening new tickets (via their email contact form) quoting your previous ticket number. It's what I am doing to try and get my email changed.

    I get an "Access Code" email requirement and now I cannot access the only game available, i.e. the EU server, after a more than 6 hour server downtime, since the email never arrives no matter how often I check and how long I wait between checks.

    I am dreading what will happen when the NA server comes back up (where I have been playing) or if my IP changes.

    How do I even contact Support since they removed or moved the front page email web form?

    Why is there no way to disable this email access code requirement like all other games with such guards? In this day and age, there are many people who use many devices across locations or the same device is behind an everchanging IP address (often weekly). Not being able to disable this thing is ridiculous!

    I cant login easily in the game.
    It always wants an access code what i dont get in e-mail.
    Some times if I cancel login and put my code in it doesnt require the access code. But its bloody *** that i have to log in a game which i paid 80 EUR this way. But now it doesnt work any more. It always wants access code.
    Stop answering ***. I dont want to change my e-mail its OK. Got all ESO e-mails on safe list.
    I never get the e-mail access code.
    Make this *** working or I will send this to ICPEN and get all my money refunded with interest.
    Dont try to answer me *** to do this and that. I made everything but it DOESNT work.
    Got firewall off got antivirus off made exeptions cleared cookie and everything but dont get the e-mail access code.
    So if you dont solve the problem in 24 HOURS i WILL forward every *** customer support answer from you to ICPEN and see what they will do.

    I found my emails for the access code they were in my email but I had to go direct to my ISP and access the email from there in the spam folder.I have not accessed email this way for yonks and just by chance I checked it out.
    Once again my apologies to ESO.

    After 5days i finnaly get a email with a access code, but its not valid ofcource.
    And CS is still silent, not even a response that they have recived my ticket after 3days.

    I can log in to my account and change the password on my "untrusted" PC, but i can not play the game, makes no sense at all?

    Thank you!!! So it seems that this is the way. I logged in to my account on webmail rather than checking outlook and the code was there (but not in a spam folder by the way!) this may explain why a gmail account works - it is web based.

    Whilst this has enabled login this time, it is a real pain if we have to do this every time, and I remain suspicious that it will work every time too.

    And I remain HUGELY disappointed with "customer service" 11 days of emails and messages, only to be answered twice and then the reply in here....

    Play in safe mode indeed, turn off your firewalls, reboot your router, ipconfig this and that. In short, people, it is clearly our fault and our responsibility.

    What a farce!

    Well, I've been helping my friend with this issue for some time now... I had him call optimum online and check if the email was being blocked..NOPE..no emails are getting sent. They checked the mail server directly while he tried to login.
