    I'm on day 7. Opened ticket one week ago today. Nothing yet. Got a phone call at 6:30am while I was at work. Asked them to call me back 2 days ago, nothing on that either. I will have to contact ICPEN as well on matter of principal. I cant even log into my account to cancel if I wanted to. I am out $94.98CAD. I can't believe I am being ignored here. And I thought Blizzard was bad because they took 24 hours.

    We want to do this to resolve before we change email accounts.
    just to let ppl know i only changed email acc and cleared browsers i didn't mess with the other stuff

    First go ahead and disable any add-ons that you may of placed. Ex. would be curse-client.
    Then go ahead and disable your anti-virus/Firewall or allow ESO as an exception.
    Disable your UAC
    Please make sure to first clear your cache, cookies, and browser history on your browser.
    Go and see if you can check the email for the security code.

    If not, go ahead and switch browsers and see if the email is there.

    Please make sure you check for spam box.

    See if you are able to retain your security code in your email. If not perform the following.

    1. Go ahead and powercycle your router/modem (unplug it for 2 min and plug it back in)
    2. Open your command prompt window with the following in programs/accessories and look for that.
    Right click and run as administrator
    3. Once it comes up please go ahead and run the following commands
    ipconfig/flushdns
    ipconfig/registerdns
    ipconfig/release
    ipconfig/renew
    netsh i i r r ( Do not restart it yet)
    netsh winsock reset
    4. It will ask you to reboot the PC

    5. Go ahead and reboot but make sure you enter the safe mode with networking mode
    Reboot your computer.
    During the reboot process, continually press the F8 key until you come to the Advanced Boot Options menu.
    This menu will have items such as Repair Your Computer, Safe Mode, Safe Mode with Networking, Safe Mode with Command Prompt, and others.
    Using your keyboard arrows, highlight Safe Mode with Networking and press Enter.
    Once Windows loads, you may be prompted to select a username.
    Select Administrator if applicable. If Administrator is not an option, select the normal username you are used to logging in with.
    Once in Windows, you may be prompted with a dialog box indicating you are now in Safe Mode with Networking. Select Yes to continue. Answer Link:Run computer in Safe Mode

    my last message from them was last Friday, saying "Since you already added the emails told in the last ticket to your allow list and checked the junk folder, we will need to report this issue to the corresponding department and we'll get back to you as soon as possible!"

    I then sent a reply, oddly the game let me in shortly after, I then sent a reply, it let me in again shortly after, sent them a reply saying every time I sent a reply it seemed to let me in, not sure if it's you guys but lets try 3 for 3, nope hasn't worked since, and no email reply.

    I have had to do this with my PC at home at least four times. Am I frustrated; no. Why, because at least there is something in place that is checking whether or not it is actually ME that is trying to log on to the game, instead of someone who isn't authorized to play MY game.

    Seriously people, how much of a hassle is it to open up your web browser, check your email, cut & paste and press "E".

    Maybe you would like a web coupon for some cookies......

    Good that you actually receive your emails, I have all their emails marked as safe senders and simply DO NOT get their emails, I have yet to receive a single authentication email. Even unlike others, literally, not a one, they don't show up expired, they simply never ever show up, nor in the inbox. I've been locked out and unable to play now for about a week an a half since I upgraded and reformatted my pc.

    Why not just offer an authenticator? The community already tends to prefer their security and for those of us who travel regularly alt tabbing out of the game time after time to get yet another authorization code just to login is idiotic.

    Not to mention currently someone need only learn your email, hack it, and now they have total access to all information on your account as well the pixels. Seems a poor security plan to me.

    Seriously person, how *** and illiterate are you? The majority of the people complaining are those not even receiving the emails. Get over yourself and gtfo.

    I am not having a problem so far logging in but I have a friend who is. Since I bought this game to play with my buddies, it is bewildering to me that we've found a fun MMO to get together in but alas CANNOT LOG INTO.

    Really...? I get problems exist, but then there's the response from the developer to help assure people that this is being looked into. My friend has been out since Saturday, with ZERO response from multiple in game and external support tickets. Now he's on the verge of cancelling his account.

    Yeah, even I'm getting a tad peeved now. So all last week I was unable to play, until it decided not to ask me on Saturday, I log on, see half my guild left, most likely because the guild leader hasn't been on in a week. Then the maintenance happened and I was unable to get on again, now i fear I won't even have a guild when I get back.

    Just send a ticket and asked to change my email adress from my hotmail to my gmail. Half an hour later tried to log in, got asked for a code and my gmail-adress got an email instantly! I am in!
    Surprised, but happy.

    Same thing happened for me tonight, finally figured what ever if it gets me in, lets change the email. Changed to Gmail, first try I had the email instantly.

    Tried to login in, received the access code in yahoo, copy / paste, then ERROR. Try again in a few minutes. I've been waiting, no access code.

    I thought they got rid of this. I haven't played in a few days because its so aggravating to get in, I thought I would wait for things to settle down. Looks like its ongoing.

    Maybe contact Bioware and see how long this lasted before the outcry overwhelmed them. Most people have dynamic IP addresses and don't want to but in a code every time Charter decides ti switch it, if the issue is not resolved soon you win because you got my $100 but loose because you won't see my $15. P.S. I get the email instantly each time and I still think it is ridiculous.

    Yep - me too. It took a week to get it sorted, but atleast Im playing now.

    - you'll have to create a gmail account, have that ready for them and you'll be in like Flynn.

    At least you're getting the codes. I'm continually locked out - in the past 5 days, they've sent the code one time - the rest of it I just keep trying over and over again, but no code ever sent. Ironically, once in a blue moon it will just let me in w/o a code, but then as soon as I log out, it's back to waiting for a code that never comes.

    after receiving a support ticket email reply 4/09 I was able to login.
    4/10 not able to login again and reply to previous support email.
    when the new support email is received with numerous suggestions to try.
    I do none of the suggestions and am able to login.
    I wait logged in on the character screen for 15 minutes or more and log out.

    cannot login "this computer is not authorized to access this account."
    cannot login to the account I was just logged into on the same computer ?

    I was finally able to get the email by disabling every spam, virus and phishing filter on my email account. Apparently the email is so vile that the email server sent it straight to Oblivion. I think gmail is working for some people because it filters differently. Zenimax needs to rewrite the email or contact the main mailserver vendors and get themselves whitelisted (or both).

    this works! called the number and changed my friend's account to a gmail email - he gets the codes now yay
