    do not and I repeat do not use the names of artists, composers or poets no matter how long ago they died, and even though it doesnt violate ToS to have them named as such you will be reported by some random *** and have to change them. hope that helps. tips from my old gm

    Sooo... a "Friar Tuck" type of character? ;)
    And thus I personally would dig into the background of that archetype for names... like... Frere or Curtal for example (from one of the stories) ; possibly with "nordish" sounding suffixes, like -thar; -gar; -dir; -mir; etc. like. "Freregar" or "Curtalmir"... presto, a very fantasy-ish looking name with a nifty backstory!
    But hey, that's how I would do it if I had to name a NPC in a campaign I were to GM. Best take inspiration from the ways of others as to how they get to their ideas, but come up with something of your own design, its way more fun that way! ;)

    That's a good idea! For exmaple, I just browsed 2 random pages from online Ikea catalog and came up with "Eket Fubbla" which might well suit for OP.
