Honestly this might be the straw that breaks the camel's back for me.
What's there to talk about? This is what microtransactions are. How can you possibly be surprised? IMHO if you do microtransactions - any microtransactions - either you don't need the money or you need better judgement. There are no good microtransactions. They always shift the focus from selling a game people want to buy and possibly subscribe to towards selling pixels and lottery tickets.

The point is that spending 250$ doesn't seem all that "micro". Especially in countries where base salary is about 450$.
Besides that's what the forums are for, voicing your opinions and complaining. Thanks to complaining we got for example thre free race/name changes instead of just one race change.
I sub to the game. Not a freeloader. That's the microtransactions crowd you're thinking of - someone else will pay so you can play for free. What's there to talk about? Really? I'm shocked - shocked, I tell you - that a company would keep raising prices when people keep buying, whatever the price point. Don't want expensive stuff? Don't buy into the whole scheme.

Did I say I do buy into it? I sub to eso+ which is quite fair deal to me but I don't buy crates on principle. Am I not allowed to criticize anything? I gave you the reason on why people complain, not that I'm shocked that a company has such and such business practices. And I'm specifically calling the "micro" part in microtransactions as ***. Do you see them as "micro"?

Look, I don't mean to pick a fight with you or anyone. I have a strong position against microtransactions. The fact that they're not so micro is self-evident to me . As long as there is no limit to what you can buy, e.g. with loot crates and consumables, they could never be micro. But that's what they're called, and discussing semantics is pointless. In-game purchases bad, is all I'm saying. The "don't buy into it" part was generic, not aimed at you specifically, though I know it's useless - people will still buy, yes even the $300 mount.

In my opinion, they do not represent value for money. They are also not fit for purpose, in the current format.
What you do is entirely your choice, after all, we are not communists.
