Me? I was looking forward to this BIG TIME but I was going to use it as a full time mount on a joke character, but... not now with that.

However I did have the idea that okay maybe I could use this on my farming character because she sprints faster than most people's mounts, but no... the animation for sprinting just has the character put the mount on their back, so I couldn't even have that fun.

For 900 crowns and especially 350 gems, I find this to be a bunch of crap. If the stick mounts were more like 300 crowns or something, to closer match the 50 crowns for the broom and bucket (a total of 100 crowns) then it'd be much more reasonable, but 900 crowns is the same as a fully functioning but older horse that's also in the crown store and 350 gems is just beyond stupid in my opinion.

Needs sound effects.

900 crowns is a price for a normal horse, not joke one. I thought that they'll cost no more then 500, and that already would've been expensive for a joke item like that.

Where's the option 'I'm sad this crap is even in the game.'?

Exactly, if the prices were more reasonable then I'd understand they made it work this way, but they're priced as fully functioning mounts, the dragon is only 50 less gems than an apex mount.

Disappointed is the word I'd use.
The White Mane Horse cost the same as the Guar or Horse Sticks but is a fully functional mount as opposed to cosmetic fluff with no real purpose other than a cheap laugh, which is short lived upon finding out the sprint animation doesn't even utilize the stick mounts at all. It's insulting honestly and a flat out cash grab. If they were like the Bucket and Broom with very reasonable prices, then maybe I'd have been tempted to pick them up but as they are, it's not worth it.

Only one of those happened however, which is the problem.

Plus it could have been a magical stick with a stuffed head and tail, but no ZOS took the most boring and the most ripoff route they could with this.

I don't think 900 crowns is too much. Well, I'd prefer to see dragon for crowns too, but ok, I just won't buy it.
They are great. Both look and animations. And, imho, it is right decision about speed.

Memento are useless. Mounts can be used as mounts, even slow one, and also for houses.

I think it's ridiculous that in a world where magic exists in abundance, these stick "mounts" are limited to our base running speed, when it could simply be implied that some kind of enchantment or something had been used on them to make the player run faster during use.

It's lazy, it's disappointing, it's a waste of an idea that would have been a lot of fun had it been allowed to access our mount speed. Overall I keep wondering what the heck the people who made it were thinking when they decided it shouldn't be like any other mount that is equally as expensive.

I had planned to buy one, but knowing what it really turned out to be, I won't be at all.

I agree with this 1000%, there's no reason they couldn't have been fully functional, immersion doesn't exist in this game so that excuse is also shot to Hell. It's just the most disappointed I've been ever in a item I was looking forward to buying.

This is a world where magic exists. A stick enchanted to make one run faster is the very least you could expect in it.
