Essential Housing Tools can add triggers (to play animation or change state of an item) to pretty much any furniture you can interact with - all lights, buttons, switches (or even on use of a book or a door).
It's an add on worth exploring.

The whole outer structure (entrance, the main chamber and the throne room) are made with Boulder, Coldharbour Fan. The square corridor to the throne room is made with Boulder, Coldharbour Shard as they are probably the blackest in the game.

I'm just so confused on how this can even be possible to make in eso. I'm assuming you used essential housing tools for some stuff such as the portal like particles toward the end but can this addon even do stuff like what you had in there such as the buttons moving stuff around?

@bayushi2005, You have probably answered this before, but how do you get that bright line that is throughout this build? Is it something in the EHT or can we console players make it?

@Codeman1976 They are FX from EHT indeed, but before I settled on using FX I was trying to get a similar effect without FX - if you want lines, like here, which are on top of other things, you can go for dreamshards (they are tiny, mind the item count) or bury a blue crystal spire between two platforms (or floors, anything with a stright edge; it won't look exactly the same, but the general mood will be similar). If they gap between the platforms is wide, you can "cover it" with an item without textures at the bottom (I don't want ZOS to "fix" them, check achievement furnishings).

Note: Viled Crystals are a very good option if you want to go for yellow.

It is all down to the item count here
