massive deterioration of gameplay quality on PC/EU-server since maintenance (JAN/28)

Its been a horrible day on EU server again. Cyrodiil is almost unplayable. All the time (and i mean like every 5-10 seconds game goes 999+ latency. Freezes. Disconnects. Also known as MASSIVE lag.

Took away even all addons. Not help at all. Been like this since last mondays maintenance. This is so bad now that i am thinking to stop playing completely.

PC/EU server.. It just does not work.

I check the dev tracker everyday - just to see if someone has been reacting but sadly enough the more complaints are piling up the less communication can be found on the forums.

And yeah the horrible perfomance tonight brought me here again
- 2 loading screens of 3-5 minutes while walking through Alinor.
- not beeing able to queue for anything
- entering a trial took about 10 minutes for most of us only to see it´s laggy as hell

Absolute GARBAGE. Pvp in eu is completely unplayable. Neither descent nor tolerable. UNPLAYABLE. It's so garbage that throwing it in a trash bin would be insulting for the bin! FIX THE SERVERS! This performance is not representative of what this game stands for or costs. I 've been playing since beta and this is the worst the servers have ever been. No cats, NO necros, NO pigs. FIX THE SERVER!!!!!!!! I heard Gordon Ramsey will play a character in the game, maybe you should pay him to yell at you cause your server performance is as gone as the famous lamb sauce!

EU us basically unplayable as far as PvP goes. We just started week 2 of messed up server, and still no response from devs.
Our only hope is that they will also screw things up for NA, and only then they will notice and maybe do something about that.

Had the most interesting duell in Cyro today. Fought an enemy, he casted a skill, stood still for 5 Seconds, my skill fired, stood still 5 Seconds. This was a 3 minutes fight and nobody got any damage at the other one. We both gave up and walked away. I teleportet to base and logged off. Seems like my other games will get more gametime until they do some fixing

Can't there be some sort of petition page setup somewhere, where players that are having issues etc sign it (hopefully a lot), then at least there would be something to submit to ZO$ or someone else, just a thought.

Sadly enough I believe this would not change anything because they do know - the officials have been tagged over and over and we´re ordered or chose to not react or ignore our plea for answers.

Hiding under a rock for whatever reason is not improving communication ZOS.

I've just logged out because Cyrodiil is literally unplayable. Even during event it wasn't like that.

And in addition to many unresolved bugs, I'm experiencing new ones each day. For example, now when I try to resurrect at a keep, the map becomes unresponsive.

I'm very close to quitting this bugfest & lagfest of game, really had it enough.

I agree, but it could be submitted to some in the games industry or even trading standards should it continue like this, I would think having a bunch of signatures in one place stating not fit for purpose and general displeasure from their community would hold more weight than scattered threads to someone other than ZOS, would not be great advertising either.

Initially I wondered if this was a local issue. But I have a house in South East England, one in London, one in France and one in Slovakia. I've not been to the Slovakian one for ages but I have been to both London and French houses last week and this weekend, and the problems occurred in both.

I suggest everyone who is affected logs this as a ticket with ZOS. Yes, I realise a bot will auto-close it, but it shows you formally notified the supplier about defects in their product. Then, if you are a subber or have paid content, you can move for a refund, because you can show you formally notified the retailer. If you just post in the forum, ZOS can say they did not see it and it therefore does not count as 'notification'.

As we're all in the EU, we have the strongest consumer protection in the world, because digital content in the EU is considered the same as tangible goods, i.e. it must work and be fit for purpose, or you get refunded if the retailer cannot remediate the issue.

By carefully recording the issues and following the processes available to us, we can eventually make ZOS fix it or get refunds, IME. I headed up the group legal action against Frontier Developments when they dropped offline mode from Elite Dangerous. I was able to show the digital content (a game) was no longer as advertised nor fit for purpose of those who bought/backed, and we all got refunds, by relying on the very same EU consumer laws that ZOS are bound by as a seller into the EU.

ZOS do not care if you moan on their echo chamber forum, and white knights will just patronise you, so make a proper noise through the legal channels available to you in your EU member state.

ZOS, check the chat logs from EU PC Vivec tonight, they should tell you the status of your server.

At this point I actually wish you'd just tell us you can't or won't fix the issues - so I can quit the game.

I wonder if zos keep ignoring problems of PC EU because of problem with PTS and man power you needed to fix it?
If yes, then you they SERIOUSLY need to rethink their priorities

Same problems like others feel here. This bulls..t started from clockworck city update and with every patch it get worse.
I try to resolve it in many ways, but it was resolved by only one way - I just stopped playing this game. Easy.

Loading times have noticeably increased for me in every part of the game. Lag in cities is unchanged for me, was always pretty bad trying to load 50+ players on my old pc. Cyrodill likewise, has always been terrible.

Battlegrounds are occasionally more laggy since the patch, but not always, some are running fine. Assuming they don't bug out and never launch which is a 30% chance or so.

This. Often after die (because of lag and cannot bar swap), cannot even spawn on keeps or camps, because the map goes unresponsive meaning cannot click place to res up, camp and keeps unclickable. Thats how bad it is right now.. die because of lag, and because of lag/bugs cannot even resurrect. Unplayable.

The very mention of PvP as a south-east coast Australian, trying to connect to the NA server every night causes me to die a little inside. During primetime, Cyrodiil is already unplayable save for anyone playing on fibre optic cables and a supercomputer.

I don't think these issues are caused by software, it's probably hardware differences or faults.

It could be the wifi or dns they are using over there as well. Could be anything really but I do hope they get the issue fixed.

Well Zenimax I believe is U.S Based so they might have to send a team if they don;t already have one to go over there. We know they are having issues with the Pts they are working on so Eu players might have to wait till that is finished. I believe they might be having issues transferring over Eu characters. From whats been mentioned. So we will see what happens.

Im sorry, but if that is true, if they really sacriface EU server for sake of PTS, they dont care even to acknowledge that there is a problem, then it is biggest BS i saw in quite some time. Especially that problems with PTS started only on monday, and we have problems with EU server for 10 days now.
Live servers always should be priority.

10 days? Battleground group finder is complete broken since last patch in early january. If you don t dispand your group and go offline for a few mins, login, regroup und try again after one successful battleground you have to play the "press F game" for decades without success...
