Plz post your system /machiner states and crashreport if you can

Didn't get a crash report at all

    And my specs:

I upgraded from Mojave 12 to 14. Maybe something in the update made it a bit better. I have the same specs as you.

    I'm running High Sierra still.
Played for 3 hours with no crash and then later on played for 4 hours no crash.
In my case, with my setup the current patch worked.

I have an older iMac (late 2013) with an NVIDIA card 775M.

    High Sierra here

Still crashing. But slightly less frequently (say 40 mins rather than 30) so whatever variable they increased has done something.

It is still crashing. Moreover, the game consultant feature on the launcher also crashes

    Ticket #190116-002184

Not a promising resolution given they have had over a month to work on this. And it's still worse than it was before Murkmire.

36 days of garbage performance and counting.

I also had a crash. I thought it was fixed because it did seem to go longer without crashing but then out of nowhere....bam. So agree with others.... less frequent but still crashing. Still had an open ticket so updated it with a current crash log.

I was running High Sierra when this crashing problem started and upgraded on advice from tech support. They originally told me that not running Mojave was the issue causing the crash. Very ironic that the latest patch has seem to resolve issue for those still running High Sierra and I am still crashing. You win some, you lose some!

That is different to what Mac users are experiencing. For us the whole game crashes and you’re back to your desktop, not the log in screen.

It’s totally random, but occurs after around 30 - 120 mins of game time.

This is in addition to the rubbish FPS and lag we have to endure while we are playing

37 days of crap performance and counting

Same for me. Still crashing, but longer intervals now. I was crashing in PvP pretty close to the ~1 hr + mark consistently before this last patch update. Post-patch I am still crashing but after ~2.5 hrs of pvp.

Also, still getting a lot of game stuttering and occasional freezing. In battles and also, when using rapids and very quick twitch series of movements.

It feels like they they used a sort of locked target FPS as a fix --- I'm pretty constant at 30 fps pve towns / 60 fps pvp open world. don't get any higher. FPS has remained fairly fixed at ~ 30 FPS in PvE areas/towns i.e. Rawl 'Kha and a steady 60 FPS in PvP. Not getting as many large spikes in battles.

    Hi everyone,

We have some folks investigating these crashes right now and should have improvements patched out soon. Thank you all for your patience, and thank you to those who shared their hardware and crash stack information, we have enough at this point to address the issues.

Would Alex or someone else at ZOS please advise if we are supposed to be providing a whole new swarm of Crash Reports and System Hardware following the latest patch?

The patch has helped with the crashing problems en masse but the crashing issue still persists along with all the other problems with the UI that have been discussed earlier.

We are happy to provide the data and the feedback to help ZOS fix these problems ... and even with the complaints in forum this community has shown surprising patience and support for a game we love.

I have the same thing - less crashing than before, but it's always there. In the last two days alone, I've missed a MASSIVE tick in Cyrodiil and also the loot from the final boss in vHRC because of this.

So not only is it crashing, it seems to have become sentient and started crashing at the worst possible times!!

If you only missed the loot you're lucky.

It also happened to me. At that moment I was one keep away from ending the gladiator quest.
    When I logged back:
    1. I did not at the tick
    2. I had been kicked out of Cyrodyl
    3. I had something like 30 minutes of queue to get back in
    4. I was now 2 keeps away from ending the quest. So 1+1+crash=1.

We should keep sup[plying crash & system data. They are fixing but obviously its not completely fixed so we need to continue supplying data, imo.

My graphics improved... slightly after switch to Metal Update20. It's sharper and I've always played on medium settings since my iMac tends to run hot on games in general.

I have played quite intensively over the past 3 days. Generally, in about 4 hours of gameplay in Cyrodiil, I'll crash out about 3/4 times. The crashes take me right out of the client back to the launcher.

I still crash on quit, too, although for some strange reason this happens less when I play my Steam account - it happens all of the time on the Mac native account.

My machine is way above the recommended spec for this game: 2017 27 inch iMac, 5k Retina, 3.8 GHz Intel Core i5, 16GB DDR4 RAM, Radeon Pro 580 8192MB GPU, 2.2TB Fusion Drive. I'm running over a high-speed 68MBPS broadband internet connection. I have exactly the same issues when I play on my MacBook Pro, which is a Core i7, 16GB DDR3, RAM, Radeon R9 M370X 2048MB.

For all the good it'll do, I intend to raise yet another ticket on the next crash.

My understanding is that the current requirements for mac systems are based upon those machines that can support Metal.

My machine is apparently the older of the type that can do that:

Im definitely interested in upgrading my iMac when the new models come out (hopefully) in 2019.

I'm just waiting on a couple of games to come out 2019 that have Mac clients. Following all directions to disable add ons, repair client, etc. does very very little to improve gameplay and does not fix any issues entirely. Plus playing in such a state is not enjoyable at all. Murkmire was not fun in the least nor the holiday events. Yes, I've tried all ZOS suggests. Yes, my machine is above spec. Etc. I did receive a response from my ticket, but it was just an ineffective cut and paste list.

On top of that absolutely no offer to reimburse lost game time and subscription costs in any fashion.

Yet another example of a game company creating a great game and then abandoning the Mac platform of their customers because they don't consider the number of Mac users profitable enough ... they just want to sit back and make money and not pay developers to maintain or customer service people to actually help with issues. They are certainly not alone in bringing in Mac customers and then abandoning them, but that doesn't make it right. Based on past experience w/ game companies that do this I do not expect it to get better.
