    So far so good. I've had the game running an hour (largely in the background whilst I work), I admit - with rezoning and running around every 20 mins or so. And so far, not a single crash.....

    I think yes - between 60 and 120 consistently. But I haven't been playing hard so don't quote me :)

    No crashes for me at all - but still the annoying as hell "long black screen" when you exit the game.

    I was able to do crafting writs on 13 characters and do all of the surveys I'd gotten without a crash, then just after I ported back to Alinor I crashed. Yesterday that would have been 3 or 4 crashes so it's not as bad but still unacceptable. The game still stuttered at times and I had several sudden fps drops that lasted a few seconds then went back to normal. So far I can say that they've made progress, but it's not fixed.

    So for FPS nothings changed. Same shutter, fps drops. I've tested Alinor.

    not crashed yet - 3 hours and counting.... fingers crossed :)

    (was crashing hourly before today)

    Edit: spoke too soon - crashed just over the 3 hour mark :/ obviously better but still unacceptable.

    Yea I got about 3hrs and then crashed to the desktop. It's getting better, but not able to raid.

    The long time black screen on quitting is still there, which suggests that they still haven’t managed to write an even vaguely adequate Mac client.

    FPS is identical, 30fps at best with regular low single figure freezes in Alinor.

    On the plus side, got over 30 mins game time without crashing.

    A baby steps release. But I live in (probably deluded) hope.

    Now we need a more comprehensive fix and way better communication from ZOS. The lack of love is every bit as much a kick in the nads as the rancid client. Taking the trouble to address these issues and engage productively with Mac users would go a long way.

    Still a MoltenVK issue though. Previously Terminal would tell me that VK_INITIALIZATION_FAILED: The maximum number of descriptor sets that can be allocated by this descriptor pool is 9600. Now it says 144000.

    I also see a lot of unused variables.

    I take it back - crashing just as much as before, and possibly worse because (in Cyrodiil at least) rather than just exiting the game abruptly, I'm getting a period whereby my skills stop working and I can free roam around the map until it crashes.

    So in short - just as bad, if not worse.

    Yah I've crashed 6 or 7 times today. It's not getting better. The patch notes are a farce.

    Just now it bumped me out of Cyro and to get back in the queue is 140. Forget it. This game is busted. There is just no Mac client. So sad.

    I tried to make a new thread to focus on the current non-release-broke-ass update, but it got shut down. Why try to isolate the issue on current version? Let's just bury *** in a cloud of noise. There is no rigor. No testing. No communication. No effort. Horrible.

    Ok todays patch was supposed to fix the crashing issue; sigh well just crashed again after the patch, soooo its not fixed yet.

    Similar experience, better in base game, about 3 hours; crashed after about 90 minutes in Cyrodiil. I am going to send a new ticket (sigh) and crash report with my next crash.
