It depends. This month is really sad for me, so "No" for this month...

When we had many crates as rewards, I was really excited! All other rewards are "ok" (I like getting free Crown Repair Kits for example, even though I have thousands of ordinary repair kits from writs - they are just super convenient to use). But if I wasn't going to log in some day, little gold/AP/consumables wouldn't force me

Pets, mounts, costumes would be nice if they were good according to my taste - but so far I only liked black Halloween cat pet from all the collectibles we got as daily rewards. That's why I think that collectibles are really bad daily rewards - everyone has their own taste and while somebody is looking forward to this month, other person is really disappointed and is basically left without rewards :'(

We used to not have daily rewards system; but since developers implemented it, I would expect them to make it exciting for every active player so everyone has something to look forward to each month.

Somebody can say that in crates we also could get collectibles which we don't like, but we also got gems anyway - meaning we could eventually save up and purchase some collectible which we like in some crate season. One of my favourite hats is Forester's Flanneled Hood - it costed 16 gems, basically few free crates from daily rewards

Even free Murkmire DLC was useless reward for me at that time (I was still going to keep subscribing back then), but now it turns into nice reward cause I'm 99.9% sure I won't renew subscription when my current one expires. If we somehow get some really nice PTS notes in January (or free crates for subscriber appreciation events like we used to have), the DLC will become useless daily reward for me again

Worth what exactly? Logging in (something I do 99% of days anyways) and clicking a button? Sure, it is, but I chose "No" because the rewards get worse and worse each month. Long-time players get the short end of the stick when it comes to daily rewards (which cater to new players), when it should be the opposite. Sure, 100k gold is good, but it's an extremely safe financial move for ZOS, especially now that Crown gifting is a thing. People have more gold -> people buy more Crown items from sellers -> ZOS sells more Crowns. Maybe I'm being a tad too dramatic but I'm saddened by the fact that daily rewards are a good way to increase customer satisfaction and they seem to be using it to benefit themselves instead.

Not anymore no. I liked getting some crates before (I refuse buying them ZOS, denying me them in the daily rewards is not changing my stance on that in any way), and I fully agree some stuff has little to no value, like the soul gems.
Replacing them with some crafting patterns and ingredients is a great idea!

Yes because I get free stuff but its nothing that I would be upset about if I missed it. I do not feel pressured into logging in everyday. Game should be fun, not a chore.

If the daily reward system does not achieve this for both either the player or the developer, it is not functioning as it is supposed to function. As common in these forum complaints, it only has to do with entitlement.

I don't recall a single complaint that could be described as entitlement. People either never wanted the reward system in the first place, feel that the level of rewards has gone downhill month by month, and/or would like an option to disable it. A lot of complaints are about the loss of the crown crates which were the main rewards offered, but don't confuse regret at losing something that was previously given with entitlement. If anything, it's the "Yes please, I'll take any free stuff without question" that reflects a sense of entitlement.

They should have done them like Enlightenment, and not Hirelings. All this crap trying to force us to log in every day is such a load. A reward that builds up the longer we have been off line is much more useful. Even if they capped it so that you couldn't get anything, if you didnt log in before it was over.
- Say I log in on the 10th and then not again until the 2nd of the next months. So only got days 1-10, and then days 1,2 and missed days 11-30/31st.

I guess the gold is ok. I have 1.6m gold and I plan on buying the Riften place soon. Otherwise Idc about the pet and everything else is not really anything I need or want.
Although I am not disappointed it's a weaker month. I always end up suffering from New Life burn out and will miss a few days of logging in.

once I got the skin I've scaled right back. I was running 14 characters but it was sooo boring, after all it just a repeat of the last 3 years events. The basic rewards are dross, even the skinchanger motifs have become worthless and therefore pointless. The sheer boredom fo this event have cured me of the ESO obsession and my NY res is to spend less time on ESO. so far so good

January rewards are really awful, as the last time when there was 100k reward. Really, guys, most part of vet players doesn't need 100k cause they're trading more per week, there's no need in xp scrolls and other trash like tri-pots or crown meal for such players cause it's totally useless. Yes, it's free, but it's also annoying for 20 of 30(31) days, and it's also demonstrating that zos dont want to do anything for "old" players, and it's really sad.

free currencies and Unique Pets ect Yes

Everthing else not no, Crownstore poisons, foods ect end up destroyed, since they are worse than Crafted Consumabels

Well, I'm going to log in and play anyway, so yeah. I do miss the crates though, used to get a steady amount of gems from them.
