I feel like Templar healers became less important in group play when they changed Repentance :(

Would you be happier if healers had more utility that could have? Maybe something that offers a chance not everyone has but could have if they put effort or you in that direction say for example with champion tree?

The idea of a support branch of CP is interesting, like maybe increase resources returned to the group by X %, it would beef up orbs and shards and elemental drain, for example. ZOS would never do this though.

Not just resources but maybe something not yet existimg yet. I think right now cp for healers is kinda bland.

What is worst change you could think of that could happen or has happened?

Warden has really copped some ***. SCR used to line up well in our burst but now it doesnt. People hate that shalks had its stun removed (i personally think the breach is good) swarm got a cost increase for no reason, Falcon's Swiftness was busted up three times! when we just wanted a duration increase now we have to slot it on our limited frontbar space, cast it every 4 seconds if we want to move and deceptive is now useless trash. You honestly need to stop nerfing crap when you have no idea what you're doing. Bear had its teeth removed and is now a gummy bear but its STILL THE BEST CLASS ULTIMATE meaning it was a failed nerf. However, what do i think was the worst nerf? arctic blast was EXECUTED for a slow, non damaging, blockable, dodgeable, barely healing, expensive class stun that only health builds can use. NOT MAGDEN. It used to be a frost tank tool it did good damage and was amazing at proccing chilled. Frost tanks loved this skill and now its gone. Now im convinced that Zos has an agenda against ALL frost and we must fight back!

"Frost is intended to be a tanking element" SAYS THE PEOPLE WHO DON'T KNOW HOW TO PLAY THE GAME!?

Listen to the Frost Community ZOS. We know how to fix magdens dps, frost tanking AND frost dps. You only need to accept suggestions.

Im going to have to echo the sentiment that the Morrowind sustain change was the turning point. I think that was the breaking point for a lot of people, and also the moment when it finally felt like PvP lost any sense of direction. Nerfs that came after seemed heavy handed and without any informed thought being put into combat balance. Aside from a few good changes, the trend has felt like a steady downward plunge since then and though class balance is decent right now, PvP feels like a sluggish pit of one or two skill tank builds and snares, where you are brutally punished for trying to run solo or small scale and big groups are given everything. Combat is slow, the heavy armor tank meta is still predominant, and AOE ball groups are now worse than ever and counter play is at its lowest point. PvP essentially is pushing people towards a meta where the group that can stand in all the AOE the longest wins. It's disgusting. It's also letting new players crutch on tank builds instead of really learning to play. But at the same time, due to all the snares, the loss of sustain and mobility, playing solo has never been more punishing and Im just glad I don't have to learn the ropes right now. I continue to be amazed the ZOS seems to lack any understanding of how PvP actually works in this game.

Siphoning attacks nerf. That was such a class defining skill at the time. It also wasn't overpowered, magblades were incredibly squishy and didn't have easy access to burst like other classes.

Nerfs is ok but Morrowind sustain changes are too big, see at forums back then, and later on they start with damage nerfs like crit, penetration and some defence.

Past: The removal of overload's 3rd bar. Who complained about this? How does taking away potential crit, resources, resistances, and utility make a class stronger especially when passives and skills that need to be double slotted aren't adjusted to compensate for the loss? They could've simply adjusted numbers and allowed weapon skills to be used while overload is active. I wait with baited breath for the so-called sorc "buffs" ZOS plans to give us in the future. Ideally it is something that benefits all sorc playstyles stam, mag, pet users, petless, etc (reducing crit from cp and buffing minor prophecy is annoying especially when dark magic skills aren't prominent in one's playstyle).

Future: Adding any kind of cast time to cloak. I doubt this would happen, but if it did it would negatively impact the survivability of some nightblade playstyles especially if the skill could be interrupted. It would also severely affect stealth oriented roleplay in pve.

    • Parse Food for PvE:(DPS) Ghastly Eye Bowl (increases Max Magicka by 4592 and Magicka Recovery by 459 for 2 hours).
    • Gold/Purple Food for Sorc PvP and Meme Tanking:(PvP) Clockwork Citrus Filet (increases Max Health by 3326, Health Recovery by 406 [useful if stage 1 vampire], Max Magicka by 3080, and Magicka Recovery by 338 for 2 hours). Witchmother's Potent Brew (Increase Max Magicka by 2856, Max Health by 3094, and Magicka Recovery by 315 for 2 hours.
    • Trash Potions when feeling cheap: Regular CP150 Essence of Magicka pots that I obtain frequently from playing the game or Crown Tri-Restoration Potion obtained from dailies.
    • Crafted Potions: Essence of Spell Critical (Bugloss, Lady's Smock, and Water Hyacinth). Without magelight this is my primary means of obtaining Major Prophecy on my Sorc, which increases my Spell Critical Rating. This also heals and restores magicka. Essence of Immovability (Columbine, Corn Flower, and Wormwood). I use this in PvP, since this gives me stealth detection, knockback immunity, and restores magicka (better to use it when competent allies are nearby, since it might reveal that you are surrounded by multiple players in stealth and you will not have an emergency pot available after use). Essence of Invisibility with only 2 ingredients (Blue Entoloma, Namira's Rot, Nirnroot, or Spider Egg). I use this in PvE content that requires stealth and if I need more speed I'll use Rapid Maneuver before using the potion. Essence of Invisibility with 3 ingredients (Blessed Thistle, Blue Entoloma, and Namira's Rot). Very useful in PvP alongside the vampire Dark Stalker passive, since you'll be invisible, ignore movement speed penalty while in Crouch, and you'll have a 30% movement speed boost from Major Expedition (I always have this slotted when riding from point A to B in PvP land, since gankers are always lurking). My templar/arcanist will mostly use Essence of Health (Tri-Stat Potion) Ingredients: (Mountain Flower, Columbine, and Bugloss).

I will possibly wake up in cold sweats from here on, with the fear that CP will be removed or nerfed to oblivion.
For me, this would constitute the biggest nerf I could think of and I genuinely believe it would kill the game as it's removal would give little reason for players to play with the longevity with which they currently do.

Nah I feel resto ultimate is staff because that tooltip is misleading for most players..or least I hope....

Mutagen zerginng is fun though :p but guess not unrealistic, though healing skills hardly ever get the hammer though rarely it is a class skill.

    Morrowind sustain nerf.

You could make an argument that the changes were for the good of the game, which is great in theory, but it unfortunately put a bad mark on what should have been an absolutely epic chapter. Something that should have brought tons of new players to the game. What it did was divide the community and cause it to bleed long time players away. Many took long breaks and some never returned.

I nominate this for the biggest negative change, not for any balancing reasons, but for how it marred the release of Morrowind and drove long term players away.

The shield cast time change likely would have been a close second, but the last minute change to make it far less divisive pushed it further down the list.

This. I left for 18 months due to the Morrowind nerfs. Only came back because of outfits and trait changing.

Not that I disagree, but why do you think so? How has it affected your gameplay experience?

It made it impossible for me to keep up with certain people, where as before I could pop a pot and keep up. And it reduced a lot of quality of life in solo content for me. Being able to race around town doing things, running from guards, questing, clearing random dungeons, all got much more tedious because of something that could have easily just been solved with a battle spirit change and focusing on that specific jewelry piece.
