I saw over on another thread that ESO plus price went up last month because tax is now added ......

Might be sweet for you, but my guess is that their sweet spot is considerably bigger than that.

yeah I would guess lowest they would go would be 129.99 MAYBE 119.99 (basically 9.99/mo).
119.99 might get a few people to bite on a year long commitment, but a lot of the people like me who go through phases with this game (logging in for more than daily reward and actually playing it for extended periods) will still buy a month here or there when the urge hits them.

I'm with you. $9.99 per month is what I consider reasonable for any MMO I play. Perhaps because I like to play more than one at a time, and often switch up which I'm playing more than the others.
Ideally that would be the month at a time rate, with lower rates still for multi-month plans.
But I would hope ESO is at the $9.99 monthly price point for the 12 month plan.

Why are they charging non US citizens the same Tax... We are not under the same laws?
Yeah, I'm aware of the exchange rate, I was more commenting on the availability of having multiple month options at a discounted rate, not specifically the single-month rate comparison.
However, at 8.99 pounds per single month. The current exchange rate is 1 pound = 1.30 USD. 8.99 x 1.30 = $11.69 per month. That's still a sizable discount any way you slice it.
Where did you see them adding a 1 year?
