@Pulque I retested mine today on Live with the different morphs, and sent in a ticket with the following info.
Purge (unmorphed) does not proc Meritorious Service nor count for Magicka Aid
Efficient Purge (morph) does not proc Meritorious Service nor count for Magicka Aid
Cleanse (morph) DOES proc Meritorious Service and DOES count for Magicka Aid
Which morph did you test?
