I do not recall the time I did different events yesterday and should not have to track it like this.
If Zos wants to have this absurd timer they can at least have a means for us to know when that timer is up.
There is your big deal. Poor planning. Poor implementation.

It’s up 20 hours after you do it..
Edit: I understand no one wrote down what time they did anything yesterday but surely you can do them again today and base off that for the rest of event. Or just rant about it here and don’t do event at all.
My opinion will be unpopular am sure, and I can see why this annoys folks but part of the problem is player mindset perhaps, this whole max things out to absolute capacity each event concept.
The motif / daily event led to people needing a "break from game" because of "burnout and exhaustion" which I totally can't comprehend from a game.
Way I see it is Its free stuff for doing normal activities, it's all good. Sure I'll miss a bit here or there but it's all good.
I'll caveat again I do know timers are annoying when they are unclear or uncommunciated, I get that. But the max out 100% mindset seems a bit full on if it leads to upset.
Not trolling, and can sympathise, just my view.
You misunderstand. It has nothing really to do with 100% maxing events. It 's something much more general than that. There are things in our daily lives as well as in games that are so unremarkable and trivial that we just tune them out and do them on auto pilot without even thinking about them because they're just not worth our attention.
Daily event timing is one of those things in ESO. I've been here for 4 years+ and the new day starts at 11 PM my local (Pacific) time. I don't have to think about it nor do I want to think about it. It's just the way it has always been in ESO. I can focus instead on doing the fun things playing the game and just rely on that trivial new day start to carry on as it always has.
This has shaken up that triviality and forced it onto our consciousness for no discernible good reason. It's an annoyance that we didn't need and that has no upside.

Last night I killed 1 boss 3 times (because for some reason it took 3 attempts to get the ticket) and then logged off.
I don’t like it either. But I don’t see the big deal. If you start today doing them at 5 then you can start anytime tomorrow after 1 doing them again. I started doing mine in order yesterday as soon as event started(10am EDT). Finished one account then did my other two. Logged in this morning then after 6am I did the same thing on each account and ended up getting at least one of each page for my main account. When you start go to obsidian gorge wayshrine in Deshaan, do the delve there, come out do the dolmen there, take two steps northwest and so the public dungeon, come out and trot west And kill boss, run through normal fungal grotto or something, run through normal maelstrom and then jump in a trial when you can. Do that then the next day do the same thing.

If there was a large cluster of players on the boss, that's your problem. Only the top 12 damage dealers get credit and a drop. If you have 20 some players working over the same enemy, it's entirely possible you won't get a drop (in this case no Plunder Skull, and no Ticket.)

This is a bit of a bummer. I did mine kind of late last night as I didn’t realize the timer issue. I have a trial tonight, so I can’t do event stuff before and certainly don’t want to push it out even later. I guess I’ll skip a day this weekend to reset the timer to a decent time of day. Not the end of the world, but not the most convenient.

How about answer the question so everyone can stop discussing?

That's fine but in my case if I do them at say 2100 to 2230 tonight.. tomorrow I can't do them until 1700 then I have to remember which one I did first. Well tomorrow at 1700 I will be away from the computer. This is fine for those who can do the exact same thing at the exact same time every single, for those that need flexibility its a *** up. Not even flexiblity.. just add them to the list of things that reset at the prescribed time, i.e - like writs, daily quests, etc.
Dear zos,
Today I discovered to my great unpleassure that you put each and every event dremora plunder skull drop on a timer.
Meaning I have to keep a schedule of what time I did what so I can make the most out of it.
And then offcourse the event ticket is linked to that.
Please for future reference put it on a daily timer like the pledges etc.
That way you can do your game time when you want to and don't have to start counting when something drops.
If you refuse that then it would be nice if there was a way to find out the cool down, as you can see on the daily dungeon.
A command to summon the stats? It's a simple database query that should be possible to put in.
^ Devs never respond lately... only those mods making the forum writing slightly more annoying. Every time you see Z you think "devs" but no...

However, for the purposes of this event the wording appears to refer specifically to the event ticket that you get with your first Dremora skull refreshing with dailies (2am Eastern) instead of all the Dremora skulls generally, though that remains to be seen. Not totally sure how if it really applies since there are technically no "quests" granting the tickets?
- Quests that grant Event Tickets during holiday events will now refresh their ability to grant Event Tickets at the same time that Daily Quests become available again.
Considering the patch will go live on PC on Monday, and the event lasts another 2 weeks, it looks like this will be addressed during the event. So, yeah, for PC players THIS IS POSSIBLY CHANGING ON MONDAY although it's unclear if the change is just for the event tickets or for Dremora skulls across the board, or if it applies at all since these are not awarded from quests.
Console plebs like myself won't get the patch until after the event ends, so we are stuck (and we don't even have add-ons to help in the meantime).
Event Tickets will drop alongside the first Dremora Plunder Skull of the day, and it must be looted in order to gain credit. Once received, it will be found on the Currency tab, not in your item inventory.
Once the first eligible boss is killed, you will immediately be put on a 20-hour cooldown before you can receive your next Event Ticket, regardless of whether the ticket is picked up or not.
Event tickets drop alongside Dremora Plunder Skulls as a separate lootable object, not inside of the skull container itself. For this reason, we recommend being careful to check the loot on all eligible bosses. Turning on the auto-loot option in Settings can also help avoid missing out on any tickets.
If the eligible boss is not looted at all, the ticket or Dremora Plunder Skull will be lost. This has caused some confusion in regards to some event-type encounters, such as Dark Anchors, where the primary loot normally comes from chests. For Dark Anchors and Abyssal Geysers, Plunder Skulls and Event Tickets drop from the bosses themselves, not the associated chests.
