Zenimax and Amazon dropped the ball.

    Usually Amazon is ahead with shipping. I read that Gamestop is having the same issue. My CE from Amazon is shipping now, but i won't get it until at least Wednesday. I'm hoping Zenimax will let us all play past their deadline. if we have proof we paid the preorder and it is shipping then we should get an extension.

    This situation has really gotten out of hand at this point. I refuse to believe that it is so challenging to respond to a ticket that includes proof of purchase, proof of order date, proof of arrival date, and full chat logs with Amazon reps by adding a couple of days to my access so I don't get locked out. I refuse to believe that it is easier to risk losing this many customers rather than just extend the damned deadline for people or give them some kind of temporary code that will allow them to enter a sub payment.

    So at this point, ask yourself this - how serious are you about bailing on this game if ZOS continues to show the same kind of callous disregard for you as a customer? Would you quit?

    At this point - 2 days and over 7 hours after starting this crusade - I think I'm ready to say that I'm on the edge of washing my own hands clean of this game and anything to do with Zenimax. As we speak I am compiling a formal complaint to the BBB. This complaint will probably not do anything but tickle ZOS. They are big enough to be able to ignore a D+ score there anyway, so what's really the point?

    The point here is that I refuse to be treated this way. I work my ass off to earn an income, and when I spend said income I buy certain rights that go with it. Such as the right not to be ignored and treated like gum stuck on the bottom of your shoe - the right to know what is going on with my situation.

    I will give ZOS another 24 hours before submitting my report and leaving ESO permanently. Although Amazon forbids me from cancelling my order at this point, I will dispute it anyway and return it to their warehouse. To those who are still in this situation with me - hang in there. Everyone deserves at least one chance - this is the one I'm giving them.

    Amazon has acknowledged this shipping issue, and customers will be contacted by Amazon with further details in the event of a late shipment. Players who were eligible for Early Access can still play without a game activation code from a physical box until Sunday morning at 8 a.m. EDT.

    There have been a number of people asking whether they can get the digital Imperial Edition instead, and still keep the Explorer's Pack pre-order bonus.

    You can, but you will need to contact customer support and demonstrate that your account had an early access code applied to it. The easiest way to do this is to submit a support ticket with the same address your game account is registered to. When switching from physical to digital, you also need to keep the same edition (standard/Imperial).

    We are still working on this matter, and will post any further updates in this thread, and include them in the Dev Tracker.

    Looks like Amazon charged my card and changed the status to preparing to ship. That's an improvement I suppose.

    My order has been sitting at "Shipping Now" for most of today, I also received a charge on my card when it turned to that status. The date remained the same they promised me on the phone (Monday, April 7th). So if your status has recently changed to "Preparing to Ship" or "Shipping Now", don't hold your breath, but it is hopefully a sign that they are getting into gear on this matter. The amazon rep I spoke to on the phone yesterday also followed up after the call with an e-mail to me saying:

    "I can confirm that we still expect to ship your order in time to be delivered to you by Monday, April 7, 2014.

    We will send an email when your order is shipped with the details so that you can track your package. : Your order could ship any time between now and right before the delivery date."

    still no help from ZoS Customer service except 'too bad so sad'

    So I contact Amazon ZoS and this is what they said...

    Me:I had pre-ordered the Elders Scrolls Online Imperial Edition. Zenimax Studios is soon to lock game until the codes in the box are given to us. They directed us to speak with Amazon about what to do if shipment is as described late in shipping.

    Matthew I see this order is still on time


    Me:As in it is coming in today?


    Sebastian:No Matthew this will be deliver on the estimated delivery date of Friday, April 11, 2014

    As is state on the order

    So really what are they going to do for us??!?!? Looks like I'll have to buy a 2nd copy of the dang game cause ZoS is Failing at any sort of customer service here besides telling us that we will be locked out of the game.

    I just received the box!

    I preordered on 21st February, game went from "no estimated delivery"( February - 2 weeks ago) to "delivery estimate 8 April" (1 week ago) to "no estimated delivery date" (2 days ago-yesterday) to "preparing for shipping" (credit card got charged before the status changed) to "Shipped" (last night) to delivered (today - 12 P.M. PST).
    Yesterday, I made 3 calls to amazon, demanded my game asap. I got a monetary compensation from the supervisor, and he assured me that I will receive the game today. I hope everyone gets their copies as soon as possible!

    EDIT: I also received an e-mail and approved the delay of the game until 4th May, and at some point the status changed to "delivery estimate before 4th May", but after I agreed to approve by clicking on the link I realized I do not wish to delay the shipment so I made the 3 phone calls that I mentioned above, I immediately asked to talk to a supervisor as the customer representative tried to mislead me.

    He has even said he would be willing to pay up front for 30 day access, and have his free 30 days credited for AFTER the 30 days he pays for. Why is this so difficult? Please: those having this issue need a better answer than what you're giving.....

    This ^ I'd be totally down for paying for the sub if needed I know others are not able to at this time for paying the 100$ for the box set though.

    Also as clearly ZoS that when speaking to Amazon, if they had the 'delivery' date after Sunday the 6th, they don't see it as being late.

    The fact he's spewing his incoherent *** here makes me wonder. Have you tried everything as far as communicating with ZOS and your retailer? Maybe you should of ordered digital, but as you can see, it's not going as planned. For reference don't *** up the forums for your mishap. It's getting annoying.

    Blaming a customer who did their best to purchase the product from a retailer, and paid for the fastest possible shipping because they didn't purchase a different product makes no sense.

    Many of us who purchased the more expensive product are being punished by ZOS because their policy did not allow a realistic time frame for many deliveries. As someone who is disabled and can't readily drive to the nearest Gamestop, I had to have mine delivered. Since it's impossible to receive it via mail on Sunday, there is no benefit to them in not allowing us to play it tomorrow.

    I'm baffled as to what ZOS considers to be the benefit to them of cutting off access on Sunday morning. (Mine is coming from Best Buy, but was delayed due to a hailstorm.)

    Just got a PM saying they are working on this. I have a feeling that this is just an attempt at stalling. It feels like everyone's gone home for the weekend and they have nothing more to say. What is there to "investigate"? People who have posted here have most likely either submitted a support ticket with proof of purchase or are here because they purchased already.

    This reply sounds more like: "Sorry, we don't really know what to say. We have no authority to change anything and big daddy is out golfing till Monday. You'll be locked out of the game you paid for, but don't worry - Tamriel is waiting for you."

    Yes; I FIANLLY got a "UPS Next Day Air Saver" tracking number from Amazon but UPS oesn't process on the weekends (as former employee) and therefore because it is going from NV>WA... I probably won't even get it until Tuesday by the End of Day.

    IF ZeniMax doesn't want a revolt they need to extend the grace period.... nothing further to be said.

    It's just a stall tactic to mitigate the complaints in the hope that Amazon trickles in enough orders so that the people complaining will either get tired or get their orders. There is no investigating and there will be no solution. I see that now. This is why they continue to parrot the "it's the third party problem/fault" and you get to keep playing all the way up to Sunday 8am" and the lack of a real response. We are the "screwed".

    Seriously, this game IS NOT AVAILABLE in local stores, Walmart, Gamestop, Meijer etc. So why are we getting cut off from playing as early as Sunday? Jeez, give you loyal fans a break. You're just screwing the fan base over when you could be making a loving life long career out of us.

    Amazon finally shipped mine a couple hours ago ETA is Monday before 8am. since there pretty much telling us to go F our selves as far as sunday goes i guess that's that. My only next concern is hopefully i get a undamaged box and legit codes and a book that is not screwed up or the statue for heaven's sake. after this whole fiasco i need a drink. I hope everyone else get's theres in a timely fashion next week and there taken care of. talos knows we deserve it.

    I'm you on that Ezmaralda. I've been looking forward to this game for a very long time and what I've been able to play has been incredible. To have to abandon this game and its creators on moral principle will be a shame. I was prepared to purchase a year membership, too. Now, I really don't have much faith in ZOS to make such a commitment.

    Well amazon managed to pull through and send my order after scaring the crap out of me. I guess I got lucky beings everything is undamaged, but apparently there was some sort of missprint on my game code. It says invalid code every time I try to enter it. The other codes appear to work as they say that I need a copy of the game to register them.
